Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

All the knocking subterfuge is hilarious - and his transport back to the barracks is the RMP Van - isn't that officer the one who was in charge of Nancy back in series 1?

Is Tucker really in trouble? No the RMP was doing Jeremy a favour - but he's run into Michael who is going to flip in the rain.

I think he was Rhu, yes. A miserable so and so if I recall.

Marsha confides the problems she is having with Michael to Donna.

This is getting very House of Hammer with the teeming rain and the lightning strikes.

Michael's made him strip all his clothes off in the rain.

Ah, the MP admits the arrest was a set-up.

Now this is looking serious. Michael totally loses it with Tucker. Where is this going to end up?

Tony and the doctor have witnessed Michael behaving weirdly. Now he realises that something's really not right.

Surely somebody is going to witness this before long? I suppose bullying is (or was) so commonplace that everyone else would keep their heads down.

So Michael is opening up to the doc.

Unpleasant memories of Bosnia that Michael has buried are now resurfacing. He hasn't come to terms with what he saw.

Poor Michael. Those images he has to live with every day. PTSD wasn't even very well recognised then and certainly not well supported.

Considering this episode was first aired 25 years ago, they were doing quite well at acknowledging the condition and highlighting that the army recognised it and was trying to help.

My cat is snoring next to me! He's very offputting!

So, Jeremy is getting a dressing down and rightfully so. He needs to grow up. At least the colonel didn't blame Dave - Jeremy took advantage of his position of authority.

It's a very half-hearted apology from Jeremy. If I'd been Tucker, I'd have turned the hosepipe on him!

The Colonel seems a decent type - he doesn't have quite the appeal of either of Colonel Swagger, but jolly decent.

Another happy-ish ending. Michael is being sorted, Tucker puts Jeremy back in his place and Donna has developed style and good taste.
