Changed the name of this thread as we were very upset with the ending of series 3 out in Bangladesh! Waiting out for news of series 4. In the meantime, we are reviewing the seven series of Soldier Soldier.

Why is Michael in his No 1 dress uniform and the colonel is in his thick jumper? How does it work?

Jeremy is about to set up a Pygmalion-like bet with his brother officer and like a sucker he accepts - yes Tucker has to pass himself off as....an OFFICER!

Me thinks that Michael is suffering from PTSD - flashbacks to Bosnia.

If he was going to choose anyone to impersonate an officer, you just knew he would go for Tucker! Oh dear! I foresee problems ahead.

Jeremy is a bit wet behind the ears but his fellow lieutenant is a smug so and so.

Methinks there could be the start of PTSD here with Michael which probably dates back to their tour of Bosnia.

Donna's mind is being opened to all sorts of possibilities. She doesn't just think differently, she dresses differently too. There is real character development here and it's nice to see, but they've had four series to do it and lots of episodes.

Does anyone think this change of character in Michael seems a bit sudden - he was fine in Cyprus.

This is so wrong of Jeremy and his mate - they will get Tucker into trouble and should know better.

You have to hand it to Tucker though, he's going to milk it for all it's worth.

Very irresponsible of the two officers though. I hope they get into trouble for it by the end.

Sorry, but Michael did seem fine in Cyprus apart from being cross with the other sergeant out there.

So the Colonel's daughter is struggling at school and feeling the pressure. You'd find it difficult to cheat these days - they are very strict.

If I had to think of a surname quickly, I doubt it would be Ponsonby. Love it!
