Also next week we have the two hour HBO 'Behind the Scenes' documentary to watch. I'm looking forward to that, maybe some of our questions could be answered?

Do they show the audience the episode before they film and start discussing it? I'd want to see it before i heard it being discussed!

I often watch last week’s again before a new episodes but said to DH earlier I don’t feel like watching last week’s as not a lot happened other than Dany flying around on Drogon and burning everything princess

@fancynancyclancy I’m crap at explaining things but it basically means that he’s proved to be popular in market research and is good for the GoT brand.
Lyanna Mormont is another example. She was only supposed to have one scene, but as viewer feedback was overwhelmingly positive she was brought back. She even had a Funko Pop vinyl made!

Am I the only one that found Lyanna Mormont really irritating?

I didn't like Lyanna Mormont either. Apart from her awesome letter to Stannis, that is.

I am dithering I wanted to watch it tomorrow night and really enjoy it - now I am tempted to get up in the middle of the night/early.

I didn't love Lyanna either … I had very mixed emotions when she was being crushed by the giant I was glad that she killed him at the last minute though.

Didn't like Lyanna Mormont either. Came across as a bit of a brat really. I actually wasn't bothered by her death.

In the books there are at least four surviving Mormont sisters - Alysanne, Lyra, Jorelle (Jory) and Lyanna - the latter being the youngest.

Stannis sends out letters to all the northern lords asking for them to swear fealty to him as King. Lyanna sends a letter to the effect that the Mormonts only recognise one King whose name is Stark.

She was only supposed to appear in season 6 when Sansa/Jon were trying to rally the northern houses against the Boltons, but proved very popular.

Bella Ramsey (who played Lyanna) said she wanted either to sit the iron throne or to have an ‘epic death scene’. Well, they gave her the latter but it made no narrative sense whatsoever. As the last surviving lady of House Mormont and a child she should have been in the crypts.

She got her epic death scene and now House Mormont (as well as Karstark and Umber) are extinct.

She refused to go to the crypts.

I’m tempted to wake at 2am and watch it but then again I feel I will be let down as I have all season, so don’t know if I should ruin my sleep

Lyanna Mormont was so annoying and so were all the memes about how 'bad ass' she was.

I just can't imagine how they are going to wrap it all up in 79 minutes. I know that's like the length of a film but this is years of the characters' our totally overinvested lives that need to be resolved. They're not going to be resolved, are they?
