That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

Just that she was the first one, the big one that split up the marriage, hence Cameron antagonism towards her.i thin ltbryd only bring. Her back if her and Serena got back together and stayed or left together.

But her death directly impacts Serena and esp Cameron, who'd finally started to find the light after a string of crises.

I’m totally confused by the woman who had her lung removed. Was she a girlfriend who actually thought she was a mistress because he was telling her his wife was still alive to keep her at a distance? Did the relationship predate his wife’s death? A child distracted me and I couldn’t work it out.

I think she is just a friend of not-Mateo and his secretly dead wife. I guess he hasn't seen her for a while so that's why she didn't know about his wife's death. Cos like nobody uses social media or anything on Holby.

I'm not sure he ever had a romantic relationship with her but I think we were supposed to think she was his wife last week.

I didn't see the point of the lung woman story, other than to let us know that non-Matteo has a dead wife. I missed any reference to it last night? but maybe I had glazed over at yet another Dom misery-fest.

Why is Ange constantly at Chloe's elbow? she can't fart without her mother jumping out showing concern and asking if she is ok. Chloe is an adult, a surgeon no less, yet mummy has to oversee her life.

This thing with Ric making a mistake.....I hope they are not going to be copying a story line from Casualty for him...

Why is Ange constantly at Chloe's elbow?

She has a history of self harm and appears to have fragile mental health. I think there's the implication she's had a breakdown in the past.

So how does she manage to be a surgeon? she has peoples lives in her hands....if she is that fragile should she even be working? (in real life would she, as opposed to Holby-land?).

I suppose mental health problems don't necessarily impact a person's ability to do their job 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm not a surgeon though 😂

Just caught up on the last few episodes?

Are we really supposed to believe that just a few hours after discovering a lung tumour a CT surgeon can just go in and whip it out without any input from oncology?! Plus, I doubt it’s an operation anyone would want to rush straight into only hours after being told about it. It was pretty ridiculous really.

I wonder what will happen with the Lofty the Daddy storyline?

And as others have said - I don’t think Evan will be sneaking off quietly.

The fling Lofty has whilst in America visiting his nan, was a woman who has turned up in the show and is pregnant. She didn’t realise Lofty was married.

Dom is aware of the pregnancy but Lofty isn’t as the woman made Dom swear not to tell him with regards to the doctor/patient confidentiality laws.

No, but if he's needed to sign divorce papers, I can easily imagine him disappearing for a long while, because he'll still have control.
