As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

What if Cam starts using Donna’s vulnerability as a way of wooing her ultimately ending up in some kind of relationship with her?

I can imagine him doing something creepy and manipulative like that for no other reason than it being the icing on the cake of the battle he had with Xav.

I agree Re relationship but I think it'll be a mixture of bad cam making sure she knows nothing and good cam feeling guilty

As much as he’s annoyed me lately I think it was a horrible way for him to die. I didn’t like that fact that it was just so over and done with - they could have at least had him in ITU for a few episodes to give us time to come to terms with it.

I just feel like his end didn’t do justice to the character he played.

Mind you, if the script writers had done then then it probably would have been a repeat of Evan with Cam creeping in and trying to kill him in some way.

They did it well though. Corridor of doom, I expected something. Competing him down the road, I expected him to do so something. Like, what WAS his plan?

I don’t think even Cam knew. I don’t know what he was hoping to do or achieve to be honest. Maybe he was hoping to just catch up with him and change his mind?

At one point though, when he saw the severity of Xav’s injury, I really did think Cam would stay with him and try to help.

Maybe Cam just thought Xav had been knocked unconscious though as opposed to having sustained a severe head injury, so simply saw it as an opportunity to grab the bag/phone and run.

I can’t remember how Cam reacted when he realised Xav had died....was it shock?

I kind of want to re-watch the episode to try and adsorb it all better.

Xav was lovely and very attractive so I'm very upset about this episode and bored of these killer doctor storylines. I actually quite like Guy Self and I'd like to see the relationship between him and Max
I've found it hard to watch though through Covid even though I know the filming is months ago. It seems strange to see a hospital carrying on as usual (well, killer doctors, same day recruitment/resignation , unofficial adoptions notwithstanding)

Yes it did seem odd they didn't talk about Covid although why would they, in a fictional hospital before we went into lockdown!

So that's it til after lockdown and then some I guess? Presumably after lockdown they will start to film again and we will have a few weeks wait before they start showing the new episodes?

I did read that Holby City had real, working ventilators as part of their props, and they'e handed them over to the NHS to be put to more use.

I'm hoping something will come of it. The Police would surely interview the cyclist so I'm hoping it'll be mentioned.
Donna will realise he's missing the bag and the Police will say someone stole it. Shl listen to the voicemail and hear the voice. She won't recognise it until one day she's alone with Cam and it'll click...

Tbf to the cyclist, she'd just been knocked off her bike and would have been in shock. Totally reasonable she wouldn't have clocked Cams clothes and caking his name wouldn't have meant anything either. She wouldn't necessarily have clocked who shouted until someone actually her his name.
Maybe Donna will track her to ask about Xav s final minutes and then she'll mentuon they're was someone else there, she thought he'd knew him but he ran off and then she'll listen to the voice mail...

I'd just like for the "villain" level to be set at the Max or Selfie level

DD and I have never liked Cam - a huge wet blanket with his pathetic puppy dog eyes - and we’re really pissed off when he came back.

I watched the bit where Xav gets knocked down again and he is definitely still speaking into his phone when the bike hits him.

Please let Cam get his come-uppance. Xav deserves this.
