That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

@PretendLife just what I thought. I only came back this week because a friend said it was picking up but I can't bear another story the same.

Me too, I avoided the last couple of Isaac episodes. I'm avoiding anything to do with Dofty and Flange and now I can add Chloe and Evan to the list. Soon it will not be worth me watching at all.

There are a couple of storylines I mentioned on the spoiler thread I'd like to see but I do seriously wonder what is going to happen to Holby after this 20 year anniversary stuff they are doing bringing back old characters.

What will they have for next year? I would be interested to know if the viewing figures have actually increased due to all the hype Holby are trying to create. Holby has always been the poor relation to Casualty and doesn't win awards.

Is Evan still married to Sophie? In which case his marriage to Chloe isn’t valid and he would be prosecuted for bigamy?

If the police were involved when Sophie left him, wouldn’t that show up on his DBS check?

Hansen and Dazzles mum are both 'different' in their own way and don't fit in. I think they make an unusual but good match

I agree it's a good thing that Evan's been found out instead of this story being dragged out for endless weeks.

Can anyone explain why a Military Policeman came to break the news of Bernie's MIA situation? She wasn't in the army any more, and I got the impression the work she was doing was humanitarian, not military-based. Or am I wrong??

Given the fact all his stuff is still in that shared flat and he's still working at Holby I fear this isn't the last we've seen of him

She'll go to Mama's and cam will dump his stuff in bags in the road. Assume he's in sick leave until his interview next week, so HH can sort him out. He's only a locum so with threatening staff and especially HH's favorite Dom they could get rid pretty quickly.
Still reckon he'll be lurking for a while tho

While I don't want to live through a hundred episodes of coercive control, that was all resolved incredibly quickly.

Agreed, Choccy - much as I like Carol and HH individually, and would be happy for them to be friends, I think a romantic connection would be very unsatisfactory for them both!

I think they're playing it nicely tho. She's always liked him, he looks bloody petrified of her lol but there's been these little connection like the birthday thing cos ddhe was lonely, the dancing and the tooth fairy (Jac was awesome) etc where you can see something grow, whether it's a very find friendship or more

I loved HH's letter to the tooth fairy yesterday - so very 'him'! I love the little smiles that sneak out occasionally.

HH/Carole and Sacha/Patricia - both ridiculous and just wouldn't happen.

I agree optimist1 I was confused about why the military police told Cam his mum was missing I thought she worked for a charity now but perhaps not.
Also agree its nice to see friendship between Henrik and Carol but a romance doesn't make sense.
I'm glad the Evan Chloe story was dealt with relatively quickly. I couldn't deal with anothet long drawn out cohersive control story. I wonder how Ange will react though, realising both her children have been under the influence of bullying partners?

I've never had a loved one MIA abroad... Would it maybe be standard procedure for some sort of military person to report such things or do they leave that up to the local police?

i guess it's possible her work was linked to military and with her history...

I don't mind the sasha and Patricia story but think Sasha and Essie might end up together again. I so want sasha to have a happy story line though.

Do we REALLY think that's it for the Evan and Chloe story? He doesn't strike me as the type to go quietly, and he and Chloe are still married after all.

Nice to see Dom looking out for someone else finally and not obsessing over his own issues.
