That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

Oh no lofty, Dom or Isaac I might watch it on catch up as I stopped a few weeks ago. Is it safe to go back now?

Ladymargarethall · 27/06/2019 06:39

Nanna try it. You can always fast forward!

No Holby next week, but two episodes the following week, according to Radio Times.

@Nanna50 I came looking for this thread to ask the same question. Somehow it had fallen off my TIO. Don't want to watch until things improve but not sure how I'll know when they have...

Helloooo, I've just popped back after a break from Holby.

I didn't watch the last couple of Dom/Lofty/Isaac episodes or the next one as there was some reference to Flange which I just find yuk and cringeworthy as I can't stand Ange and I don't like Fletch as much anymore, not since he became DoN really.

I just read the spoilers then decide if it is worth watching. There are a couple of future storylines I will look out for that look interesting but the rest just seems more of the same, which I shall avoid. Just seen what could be the most ridiculous story line ever...I may have to watch this one just to see how low they can go.

Have just dropped my spoiler bomb on the other thread.

Report
MyOtherProfile · 07/07/2019 19:11

Argffh why don't I get notifications for the spoiler thread? It never crops up in my TIO even though it's a TIO!

Same here @MyOtherProfile it's very annoying and when I was scrolling down looking for the spoiler thread earlier I noticed others IAO have new posts but not jumped back to the top so now I feel the need to check them all!!

Why will someone not put a Wi-fi booster in the basement corridor of doom? Or at least some door handles? Does no one do risk assessments on these places?

Report
SleepingStandingUp · 10/07/2019 08:54

Surely there should be no public access to the basement of doom, especially from outside? Isn't that negligence or endangerment or something? And then it's unsafe once you're in Re handleless doors.
I hope her family sue for wrongful death agisnt the hospital

It’s so ridiculous. The whole getting married within a few minutes? Really?

I felt guilty for feeling happy when Evan got stabbed. Such a shame he made it...

MyOtherProfile · 10/07/2019 22:32

Who is Sophie though? A wife? Bigamy hasn't been done before on Holby, has it?

Report
SleepingStandingUp · 10/07/2019 22:36

dammit, not seen it yet but hoped he'd die.

Report
Optimist1 · 10/07/2019 22:51

Considering Chloe is smart enough to be a talented surgeon she's really stupid in her relationship with Evan. OK, so we know he's started to control her, but when senior medical staff are strongly advising against any delay with his op, you'd imagine that she'd listen to them rather than indulge him. Please let Sophie be his wife, and let it be discovered very soon. I kept hoping that Jac would comment to HH about him allegedly persuading Evan to accept the consultant position and for HH to tell her it wasn't like that at all!

Does anyone think that Dom and Lofty will be adopting Helen's baby?

I was really hoping Evan would die too.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 11/07/2019 22:46

Optimist yep, Dom and Lofty will end up with the baby no doubt. Of course Helen is superfluous to requirements so she will have to conveniently die in childbirth or otherwise disappear in a manner which leaves the boys blamelessly in charge of the baby. Mysteriously she will have no family at all and Dofty will assume custody without any need for red tape. OR, she will turn out to have virulently homophobic parents who fight a vicious custody battle for the offspring of Helen and Lofty (Hefty?). If it is the former, in about two series’ time it will turn out that actually Helen has a sibling who is trekking in a very remote area out of contact with modern communication methods (so somewhere in the basement at Holby). Said sibling will return to claim their long lost niece or nephew and there will be some kind of long running stalker story or hostage situation. Or Lofty will get kidnapped by them so he can go on tour again.

In about five minutes of airtime, Helen managed to convince us that she feels far more for Lofty than Dom "I'm the walking dictionary definition of narcissist" Copeland has EVER felt for him.

@TheWashingFairyatemyhamster - PLEASE apply for a job as a writer on Holby! Grin

Sophie is bound to be the wife, the one he was talking to secretly. Not sure why he was so desperate to get married to Chloe, though.

I thought coercive control had already been done to death with Dofty/Isaac. Here we go again with Chloe and Evan it would seem.

Love the idea of Hefty!!
