That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

Think Holby goes into hibernation after this next episode so can we have more clips of the gorgeousness please to hold us over?

I wonder if tonight's episode will bring the Xav/Cameron storyline to a head or whether we'll be left on a cliffhanger as we go into the hiatus?

MyOtherProfile · 14/04/2020 10:53

Really hope so. Then perhaps we can have a break from manipulative psychopaths and have some decent story lines. I won't miss Isaac/Evan/Cam and hope they don't bring the same character back with yet another name.

He can't get away with it again can he? 😔 😔 😔 😔 😔 😔

LuxuryWoman2020 · 14/04/2020 20:53

God I can’t watch this bilge anymore.

AutumnCrow · 14/04/2020 21:01

Nicky sobbing as she performs a heart transplant. I find the MN Playmobil corvid thread more realistic.

QueenofmyPrinces · 14/04/2020 21:02

Found the episode really sad - had a few tears in my eyes.

However - surely the cyclist would have mentioned to the paramedics/police that a young guy in hospital scrubs was at the scene but stole Xav’s satchel and ran off with it?! I’m just surprised it wasn’t mentioned though I hope for reality purposes it does at least crop up in the next episode!

I also found it unlikely that after taking the satchel he returned to the hospital with it? Surely he wouldn’t want to risk being seen with it? Why not just rifle through it and dump it in some random bin before he returned to work?

I did feel very sorry for Donna Sad

spiderlight · 14/04/2020 21:38

Flipping heck - wasn't expecting that! Poor Donna.

ChoccyJules · 14/04/2020 22:32

Well. So many plot holes that Xav just fell through one and couldn’t get out.

Nice Jac and Nicky scene though.

Optimist1 · 14/04/2020 22:48

@AutumnCrow - I thought the sobbing was Donna's. They were switching the picture between the operating theatre and Donna with Xav's body but the sound seemed to be all from the latter.

@QueenofmyPrinces - yes, surely the cyclist would have said that a man in scrubs called out to Xav, calling him by name, then grabbed his bag and legged it? In spite of that, and in spited of Essie's drama, I was more gripped by Holby tonight than I have been for many a long month.

I feel exactly the same. It was so tense. At one point I thought Cam was going to murder Xav in the basement corridor. To be honest though, I think it very unrealistic that Xav went to meet Cam when he got the text message. Why did Xav think that secretly meeting up with a killer where nobody would hear him scream was a good idea?! It had the making of a perfect murder.

Over the last few pages I have been moaning about Xav, and I do believe I even said that I hoped Cam would kill him so I wouldn’t have to watch him anymore - I’m feeling pretty guilty now!! Grin

billysboy · 15/04/2020 09:48

this wont end here surely

perniciousdot · 15/04/2020 09:56

Can't take to Max at all and when she delivered the 'make sure it's beating strong' line re the heart transplant it should have hit some feels but it just didn't. It was a strong line, something that has been missing for a long time from Holby but they really needed one of the more established and liked characters to make that work.

QueenofmyPrinces · 15/04/2020 10:35

I actually really liked it when she said that line Grin I think it showed some much needed genuine emotion to her character.

SweetestThing · 15/04/2020 11:20

I think Donna will listen to the voicemail Xav left on her phone and hear Cam calling his name. That will lead to an investigation into where Cam was, where Xav's bag and phone are, the CCTV chap and Jason will get involved and it will all eventually unravel for evil Cam. I hope so, anyway.

QueenofmyPrinces · 15/04/2020 11:37

Was Xav still on the phone then when he got knocked over? It happened so fast.

SweetestThing · 15/04/2020 11:43

He was telling Donna he loved her when he stepped out into the road, I thought.

Optimist1 · 15/04/2020 16:45

Yup, very risky for anyone to agree to meet anyone in the Basement of Doom or on the roof .

I kept saying to the TV.. but that can't be the only copy.. he must have left another copy on Donna's desk in an envelope. He seemed to be taunting Cam to snatch the memory stick. Yeah, I'm relying on Donna listening to the message and hearing Cam. If I'd have been Xav though I would have submitted the evidence to Ric for safe keeping...

SleepingStandingUp · 15/04/2020 20:04

@QueenofmyPrinces you cow. I liked him and you got him killed.

Nikki is snivelling but the sobbing is Donna.

In a good soap she'd be pregnant.

QUEEN can you get Cameron killed please

MyOtherProfile · 15/04/2020 20:07

It's not on iPlayer! What's going on?
