That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

Maybe not, but I think the complaints compartment would take a massive hit regardless. I think it's just meant so none of us warm to her, God I hope HH swoops back in to save the day!!

Rosie did an interview on portraying Javs breakdown and how she's had to have counselling to get through it and it's really triggering for her and she didn't want to do it. She also talked about how it's making her relaise she needs more time with her 5 yo irl so I reckon she's coming up for a big break at best 😭😭
Can she please have one steamy session with Fletch in the table that Mange sees, convince him to go back to wearing waistcoats and then ill let her have a sabbatical

Emeraldshamrock · 29/11/2019 10:50

The coffee was an empty threat I thought.
A sharp shock to remind him he is arguing with his superior. It shocked me
Hansen would not except being spoken over like that.
I really like her she brightens up the place.

SleepingStandingUp · 29/11/2019 14:02

Those saying ah harmless empty threat, would you be OK with your boss making the same comment to you? Perhaps I'm being overly Pearl clutchy but def think it wouldn't have been allowed from a man to his female junior

SoupDragon · 29/11/2019 16:50

In the same context, yes.

OrlandoInTheWilderness · 03/12/2019 21:02

Major meltdown tonight! I thought Rosie Marcel was incredible.

MissSueFlay · 03/12/2019 21:06

O. M. G.

Amazing performance from Rosie Marcel, you could feel the agony, all the pain...

m00rfarm · 03/12/2019 21:14

Yes. She was superb.

Susiesoap7 · 03/12/2019 21:23

I love jac! Hope this doesn't estrange from her daughter! I know it's only pretend!
Hope Elliot gonna be ok Sobs!

OrlandoInTheWilderness · 03/12/2019 21:24

I know, I'm keeping everything crossed for Elliot!

Nonnymum · 03/12/2019 22:03

I agree Rosie Marcel was great. The breakdown has been a long time coming. I do wonder where it will go from here though. I like Jac as a strong independent woman. The same thing happened to Connie in Casualty, strong brilliant doctor, then she loses her daughter, is attacked,, becomes addicted to anxiety meds and has a breakdown

rosesandcashmere · 03/12/2019 22:50

She was amazing tonight!

QueenofmyPrinces · 03/12/2019 22:59

She was amazing. I actually had tears in my eyes at the end of that episode.

DoesntLeftoverTurkeySoupDragOn · 04/12/2019 07:25

So well done.

They won't kill Elliot this way - if Jac thought she had caused his death she would never recover from it.

spiderlight · 04/12/2019 11:02

Rosie Marcel was phenomenal last night. Hats off to her - amazing performance. I hope they don't kill Elliott off though!

SleepingStandingUp · 04/12/2019 12:07

I think Eliot dying now would end Jacs career and thus her role in the show, I dint think they'll do that.

I can see her taking a job up in Scotland tho...

SweetestThing · 04/12/2019 12:11

Rosie Marcel's acting was a tour de force last night. I got totally caught up in her anguish and desperation. Fabulous acting.

HalleLouja · 04/12/2019 18:26

There is a new trailer out. Have updated the trailer thread with the link.

Emeraldshamrock · 04/12/2019 21:46

Rosie was amazing as ever.
Her character is very real scary she played it well.
I hope Cameron can get over Evan's death without ruining his career.
Dom's is lovely. She doesn't always get it right though she tries really hard, I don't think Dom is easily pleased he is a bit of man cross toddler.

Emeraldshamrock · 04/12/2019 21:46

*Dom's mum

burblish · 05/12/2019 12:07

I was in tears watching those last scenes - Rosie Marcel was extraordinary. So powerful and heartbreaking.

Emeraldshamrock · 05/12/2019 14:08

I know. I'd a big lump in my throat watching her.

SleepingStandingUp · 05/12/2019 23:06

Doms mom is normally annoying but thought she was great.

Rosie was AMAZING, there should be a ton of soap awards with her name on it.

Fletch was fab, he's the only one who could have done that
Kian would have flung his ego and penis around. Sacha would have oohhd and ahhd about. Fletch was finally strong enough to see they couldn't handle it. And he also stood up to the stupid CEO. It renewed my crush a little and I didn't even notice if he wore a waistcoat

MyOtherProfile · 06/12/2019 09:03

Poor Jac. That was heartbreaking.

WelcomeToGreenvale · 07/12/2019 21:13

Yeah Rosie absolutely nailed that, very impressive.

nrpmum · 08/12/2019 13:48

I've been through a very similar situation to the character Rosie Marcel plays. Bit late to the party here, but if I'm honest it has taken me a little while to get over watching the last episode.

Rosie played every little nuance, and emotion exceptionally well. So well in fact that it floored me because the emotions you go through as a mum having your child taken away are devastating, and strong.

I ended up with viral meningitis, and completely shut down, but can completely see someone having a breakdown.

It was so hard to watch, but almost therapeutic at the same time.
