That last thread filled up quickly! Here's a new one for us.

As a PP said, I can't quite forget how vile Dom was to Malik in the early days, so his rehabilitation has never made me warm to him. It looks as though his troubles aren't over, though. Carol to the rescue?

Spider - thanks for that! I must have completely missed that bit. What an awful thing for Jac to do though Shock

EmeraldShamrock · 07/11/2019 11:11

Jac is not mentally well bringing Emma to the mortuary, I really sympathised with her when you feel so stress every noise is agonising, she done the right thing giving custody to Johnny.
Great episode this week. Jac is fab.

spiderlight · 12/11/2019 20:14

I thought Isla had gone back to Frankie?

Doubleraspberry · 13/11/2019 14:56

Frankie decided to leave her with Essie for a bit longer. Terribly convenient.

spiderlight · 13/11/2019 16:16

OK - thanks. I must have nodded off at that bit! So now we'll have Essie and Sacha playing will-they-won't-they for a few weeks until Frankie comes back and it all goes to shit again, I guess.

Emeraldshamrock · 13/11/2019 16:21

Jac was brilliant again.
Elliot looks really unwell I hope they save him.

QueenofmyPrinces · 14/11/2019 00:00

Jac was fantastic tonight!!

I’m finding the whole Dom, Lofty, pregnant lady storyline really ridiculous and annoying:

SoupDragon · 14/11/2019 07:26

I find the dynamics of it quite interesting. Especially the scene when they were all waiting for the scan and they never all agreed on anything (where were the other people. I have never seen a waiting room that empty!)

I mean it's clearly daft and the mother clearly loves lofty so that isn't going to end well but I don't mind the story.

Jac and Emma is heartbreaking. Jac doesn't believe she can be a good mother and thinks she is doing what is right for Emma - I'm not convinced it is right and something will turn out to be very wrong with it all. Or Jac will move to Edinburgh.

Emeraldshamrock · 14/11/2019 10:44

Jac and Emma is heartbreaking
It is Jac grew up in care, she created a tough shell, she probably doesn't know how to break it.
I was proud of her allowing Emma choose. I know it is fictional sometimes

Yes, he probably is bisexual - he wasn't gay, then he was gay and with Dom and then he had a "holiday romance" in Vegas with the woman who got pregnant.

Emeraldshamrock · 14/11/2019 11:03

It looks like lofty is Bi.
I think Dom was his first so he is probably unsure.

SleepingStandingUp · 14/11/2019 11:32

I give it 6 months in Edinburgh. New baby will come along, step mother will slap Emma for something, she'll come home

I agree. Or Johnny will die or something. Maybe he brings Emma to visit Jac, they have a picnic on the roof and he falls off.

Doubleraspberry · 14/11/2019 11:49

Noooo. He left his fiancée for her brother!

Emeraldshamrock · 14/11/2019 12:35

Oh yes I forgot about the fiancee's brother.
Dom was his first sexual experience, when he slept with Dom he was ecstatic and admitted it was the first time.

spiderlight · 14/11/2019 13:21

The fiancee's brother business was all so incredibly implausible. It was as if they were scrambling for a new gay character and someone in a meeting said 'What a shame Lofty's not gay....'

Does this new CEO mean that we're going to be HH-less long-term? :(

SoupDragon · 14/11/2019 13:25

Yes! Emma is a feisty one - not ideal around someone's first baby. She's bound to do something to make oh-so-perfect Stacey snap.

SleepingStandingUp · 14/11/2019 14:36

Yeah, I reckon Stacey is ripe for itm. She has already commented on Emma being spoilt etc. She's a bit too young to turn up on a train alone but maybe will go missing, or come to visit and she'll see a bruise.

I still want Jac and Fletch to get it on.

InTheShadowOfTheMushroomCloud · 14/11/2019 15:56

I thought Lofty had a 'thing' with the brother of the woman he was going to marry a la Casualty ( disclaimer - I haven't watched Casualty for 15 yrs..I only watch Holby)

PretendLife · 14/11/2019 15:57

Jac's past is no excuse for being so vile to people. That comment to Elliot was unforgiveable.

Jac and Fletch will never happen as they are friends in real life and don't want to do that storyline. Mange is the consulation shag for Fletch! There is a future story, Mange finds out she is 2nd best to Jac...

New ceo Max was a bit of a stereotype fiesty woman but at last someone is questioning why so many people covered up for Ric and put patients at risk.

Donna though! Hilarious.

SleepingStandingUp · 14/11/2019 17:34

Agree Re Jac and Fletch but think it's a shame. I think he's exactly the type of person hmshe needs - possibly a bit too soft in general but able to stand up to her

SoupDragon · 14/11/2019 17:58

It's not an excuse but it is a reason why.

Emeraldshamrock · 15/11/2019 00:57

I am not sure Fletch could deal with Jac. The last surgeon she dated she went wild with jealousy.
Fletch and Ange are all wrong too.
I think they need a new happy character for Fletch to fall for.

SleepingStandingUp · 15/11/2019 09:20

When she let's him in she softens. I think she'd still have Emma if she'd got with him, and altho he's a softie, he's a tually gone through a lot in his life and can cope with her moods.
Glad they haven't set her up with Kian, I thought they might when he joined
