Me and DH loved it, particularly the group session led by the scout master "and next week we'll have..." The plague girl, though, was very creepy I think (but am a bit of a wuss when it comes to that sort of thing) and I wonder whether that accounts for why it's got the 9.30 slot.

Will definitely be watching next week.

To clarify for some posters, I missed the first couple of minutes and had no idea what it was called. Just tuned in and saw the actress from fresh meat and started watching. Then a headless ghost appeared! I'm not a total moron

The girl singing was creepy! Funny how they then said to her ' oh , well done'!

It was every horror movie ever made at times. The ones in the basement are scary.
I wonder if they will come up stairs.

The ghosts in the cellar didn't bother me, but that plague girl is really creepy!

I loved The Ghosts of Motley Hall, and judging by your name I must be as old as you! They must have based it on TGOMH surely? It’s almost exactly the same, ghosts from different eras, abandoned ‘stately’ with new tenants some of whom can see the ghosts some can’t. In fact when I first saw the trailers I assumed it was a remake. It’s good though, enjoying it so far.

I wasn't really looking forward to it but watched it with dh anyway and it surprised me.

Just watching the second one now and I think it will be better now she can see/hear them but the others can't
