I thought a lot of the reunions were understated. I was expecting more excitement.

Yes, I thought the reunions were a bit underwhelming also. Jon flying on the dragons made me cringe for some reason. I always hoped he would fly one of them and that is not what I hoped for! Oh well lets hope episode 2 gets better.

Sanza's clothes and hair have always connected with the characters sje favours, she is totally favouring Jon, but she might not be so happy if /when she finds out who he is.

Also cried for Brienne. Was v keen for them to go for the Brienne/Tormund/Jaime love triangle and v happy that they’ve gone all in. Poor Tormund was never going to have a chance - which is as it should be of course, just because he wants her doesn’t mean he’s entitled to her. I can’t remember whether they’ve done the backstory in the TV show for why Brienne is so guarded about her love for Jaime or whether that’s just the books?
