The other thing is the number of episodes. Seven is way too much and the shows flaws are more apparent. The quality of writing just isn't there to sustain 3.5 hours of TV.

Agree far too many episodes. Corrie is the same. They’re having to write so much to fill all the episodes and they’re unable to take the time to write quality rather than quantity. I’d happily go back to 2/3 episodes a week. As long as the quality returned.

I've been saying that for a long time southeast, it's way to many for one week, it must be something to do with the sponsorship.

I don't think so Kurrai, new girlfriend, new wedding that won't happen, farm accident, that seems to be the pattern of Petes life.

Kurri Pete hasn't had a decent story since Kate Oates left. Before that he had the Debbie/Ross triangle and then when he thought he'd killed Ross. Like a lot of others they don't seem to know what to do with him.

I totally agree it's too many episodes atm. It's quantity instead of quality.

See this is why the need make the longer term characters relevant before they bring in new ones.

They need new storylines perhaps s kids petting area with a gift shop on the farm or a new housing development or something so the regulars can have new stuff to get there teeth into . I don’t know but the same storylines rehashed are getting boring .

The ever responsible Billy is looking at guns and holding one while his mother, brother, step father and his children are all in the same room, christ on a bike!!

I enjoyed that episode.

Horton police again show how completely incompetent they are. The gang are surrounded yet they all manage to escape. Now we have to endure the tedious Max trying to kill Billy and no doubt April/Marlon/Jessie/Ellis will get held hostage/caught in the crossfire.

Don't you just know that'll happen PrincessScarlett, so tedious and yes it's amazing how they all got away except Billy.

What is the point of the football thing, am I missing something.

I'm guessing the football team story is to provide humour and/or give Bear something to do.

On a positive note, I liked the Liv and Jacob scenes. Liv brings out the best in Jacob and he's not as annoying as usual.

I think the football is so we get to see some handsome men running around in shorts. Let's hope Bear doesn't tog out.
