New thread. No spoilers. If you want spoilers, there's a spoiler thread.

Therese and Paul are in love
Toadie is devastated
Mark needs to find Kate in witness protection in Summer Bay in a visit there with Elly where she reunites with the Stewarts
Finn needs to bog off and take Mea with him.
Have I got it all??

Also there is no way that neat freak Mark would have gone to work leaving that coat hanger on the side like that.

Walney · 15/05/2019 20:45

I am really happy we are seeing more of Clive, I love his and Sheila's relationship, it comes across as really genuine and I'd love to see more of them together.

MiddleClassProblem · 15/05/2019 22:47

Yes with Kyle stuff! And it’s only ever a single word not a sentence like he’s naturally slipping into speaking it. So weird. I wish they used the time they put in to google translating words into Elly’s story actually making logical sense instead.

SpanishFly · 15/05/2019 23:22

I'm getting so fed up with the writers having the chance to kill Bea yet deciding not to. That's twice recently they could have finished her off.

Smidge001 · 16/05/2019 07:37

I'm so glad she dumped ned though. He's more controlling than finn ever was.

SpanishFly · 16/05/2019 08:17

Smidge while I agree completely and it was totally the right thing to do, it leaves me struggling to feel that I'm on Bea's side in this...

RulesForResults · 16/05/2019 11:38

So Finn is remembering Harry and not saying anything? Or did I make that up?

Smidge001 · 16/05/2019 11:51

Don't worry, I still can't stand Bea Grin. Also think Ned is being a twat.

Yeah, I think finn remembers Harry. But maybe just knows he knows him, not how or why etc.

Cherrypie32 · 16/05/2019 15:11

Is Vance supposed to be the same or similar age to Therese then?

SpanishFly · 16/05/2019 16:07

Don't worry, I still can't stand Bea. PHEWWWWWWWWWWW

Re the Abernathys - that was a storyline I lost the will to live with. Could anyone remind me in a nutshell what they had to do with everything re Leo/Paul etc. Is that the family of hoons that Paul thought he'd killed one of them?

Starburst8 · 16/05/2019 16:08

This Vance storyline is a bit Hmm and creepy. If he's supposed to be Terese's age then he's old enough to be Roxy's dad 🤮

Starburst8 · 16/05/2019 16:10

@SpanishFly wasn't that something to do with Leo when he lived away and he grassed up the family?
I think Paul got involved cos Manx started blackmailing Leo, so Paul "killed" Manx off... or something like that?

That storyline was draining so I may have some details wrong.

SpanishFly · 16/05/2019 16:21

thanks - yeah, it was so so tedious. As are so many storylines these days. I'll google later, but can't even muster up the interest to do that Grin

MrsSteveMcDonald · 16/05/2019 16:49

That was the Renshaws, not the Abernathys

Starburst8 · 16/05/2019 17:53

🤭 Oops! who are the Abernethy's then?
I'm assuming that storyline was just as bad then.

I'm off to google...

SpanishFly · 16/05/2019 17:57

oh gawd, me too - I've no clue, except that they're hoons

SpanishFly · 16/05/2019 18:02

And google seems to spell it Abernethy, even tho they pronounce is Abernathy on the show. argh

woodhill · 16/05/2019 18:18

Vance is creepy and Roxy is a brat.

Starburst8 · 16/05/2019 18:25

@SpanishFly according to google Abernethy/Abernathy is Vance's surname 🤔

What's going on I'm lost 🤷🏻‍♀️

CurbsideProphet · 16/05/2019 18:25

Vance looks very familiar. I wonder if he has been in H&A too. Off I go to the spoilers thread to see if my prediction is correct!

NymphInYellow · 16/05/2019 19:17

Yes, he played Roman in Home and Away. Roman and Martha were a couple for a while.

Smidge001 · 16/05/2019 23:49

Am I the only one who thought abernathy (I agree, some of them really struggle with the A vs E thing... Think Mark and his constant references to Ally) was a place - and that Abernathy Station was a railway station in Abernathy?

I have eventually taken to assume it is actually a surname, and the family lives on a cattle ranch or something?

SpanishFly · 17/05/2019 00:00

Yes! The Abernathy Station thing, I thought was a railway station! But it appears not.

And Starburst8 me too - totally lost

AGnu · 17/05/2019 01:06

I was imagining the Abernethys to be a rich family whose ancestors founded a little village a bit outside of a larger town which served as a stopping point for people travelling between the larger town & somewhere else back in the days before cars. Thus, Abernethy Station is the name of the dodgy place where all the wayward teens go to hang out & the Abernethys, since their village was no longer required, have turned to a life of crime to fund their lavish lifestyles & frequently take advantage of the naive teens. Having met Roxy & recognised her surname, he's now using her to get to Terese. Perhaps he has some knowledge of her shady past he's planning to blackmail her with, or maybe he wants revenge for her ditching him or something...

MiddleClassProblem · 17/05/2019 07:38

I think a bit like Agnu and that we did have Ramsays on Ramsay street so maybe it’s not that unusual in oz being colonised less than 250 years ago.
