Wow. After watching since I was a child in the 80s, I stopped watching towards the end of last year as I realiaed I was looking at rubbish on my phone every time neighbours was on because it was so boring. I love Toadie and Sonia though and when I heard about this storyline, although I was like "No!!!!", I just had to binge watch the last few weeks since Sonia's diagnosis fast forwarding through the other bits but getting the gist. Amazing acting. I am in awe of them both. Mark today was really good too I thought, made me cry lots. Just a theory but is this paving the way for real Dee to come back and get back with Toadie? Although from a cost saving point of view it doesn't make sense to switch from one expensive actress to another. Don't get the decision to axe Eve at all, she is truly the best actress, along with Susan and Dee/Andrea, in that show. What a loss to the cast and an emotional rollercoaster of a storyline, the stuff of nightmares. My thoughts go out to anyone going through that for real, I can't even begin to imagine how amazing brave and strong you have to be.

YY to Dipi's acting. I still cried all through it though! So cross they ended it with lizard lips. It should've just been about Sonya. In fact, no other storylines should be mentioned for at least a week & everyone should wear sackcloth & ashes & sit around in the dust weeping & gnashing their teeth. Maybe in a few weeks I'll permit someone to go to work or something...

I couldn't hear much, it just was Callum joining Toadie who was standing on the shore looking out to sea for a little while, and saying that Nellie was asking for Mummy and Daddy, Toadie said "she's going to have to be told" or words to that effect. Then it cut back to normal life in Erinsborough where nobody knew yet.
Yes, to Callum, FGS, he's lost his MOTHER! They were treating him as if she'd merely been someone he knew as well as Val Grundy, or whoever that old biddy was down the street who died suddenly and was in one episode for no apparent reason. Susan was brilliant. Finn waking up was just too obvious at that point. Unnecessary juxtaposition.

Ah OK, I'll prepare myself for beach scene although I wrote the perfect one. Won't see it till late tonight but

I'm glad they did the telling Nellie-fish off screen. That would have been too much to watch.

I’m now quite glad it’s over, except for the memorial. I can’t cry this much at a bloody tv show. Luckily, in Neighbour, once you’re buried, you’re pretty much forgotten about. Toadie will be on Tinder by April.

Re the not showing Nellyfish being told, I do think they’ve done a great job, since she first ever joined the cast, of protecting her from acting in inappropriate scenes.

Still devastated, today’s episode was just as hard as yesterdays. Was shocked to see sonya removed from the starting credits already!! Harsh.

@MiddleClassProblem I don't think Aaron has, but would that matter in these circumstances? Maybe he would have felt odd but I think it all goes out of the window.
