New thread. No spoilers. If you want spoilers, there's a spoiler thread.

Therese and Paul are in love
Toadie is devastated
Mark needs to find Kate in witness protection in Summer Bay in a visit there with Elly where she reunites with the Stewarts
Finn needs to bog off and take Mea with him.
Have I got it all??

I watch with my 12 year old and he is mortified most days at the moment! He found the scene with Amy on the table today so embarrassing!

MiddleClassProblem · 10/05/2019 23:19

They went from a G to a PG rating but they are obsessed with making it a higher rating content as a result rather than using it as and when appropriate to the plot.

AGnu · 11/05/2019 02:32

Totes forgot to add Piper to my web... Then I remembered the Chloe had a thing with Leo so I've added her, also linked to Kyle. That led me to add Aaron & David as another link between the families & now I'm remembering the Chloe-Elly-Mark triangle & the whole Tyler-[Every Willis girl] thing... I'm going to need a bigger sheet of paper...

AGnu · 11/05/2019 02:47

I'm now up to 22 romantic relationships between 22 members of 6 families. It's a big tangled mess. Might see if I can find some family tree creating software & laugh as it glitches over all the links!

There never seems to be any worries about STD or HPV which is very contagious.

Doesn't send out a good message to young people.

MiddleClassProblem · 11/05/2019 08:42

But then if you’re in a group of 22 people who are only having sex with each other and there’s at least one doctor involved you probably know you’re all clean.
At this point Leo is the only liability 😂

WhiteVixen

Oh and how the very heck did Finn jump from watching Elly argue with Dean, to picking up the scan picture, to figuring out Sean is the father of her child so quickly?!

Finn had a call with a +415 code, which was his brother in Sweden(?)
He then saw elly arguing with dean, who dropped the scan picture, which finn picked up
He then saw Elly get a call from a +415 number
He looked at the scan which was obviously extremely early, put it all together

Starburst8 · 11/05/2019 10:25

There's no flies on that Finn is there 😆

The way the scenes cut together were a bit odd. It's like the other day's episode it looked like it was daytime and the next scene was night time at Ned's house.Hmm

WhiteVixen · 11/05/2019 11:20

Oh I missed Finn see Elly get a Swiss call too.

MiddleClassProblem · 11/05/2019 12:03

There's no flies on that Finn is there 😂🦎

Clawdy · 11/05/2019 13:17

Now if the evil schoolboy had found evidence that the baby wasn't Mark's in some other way, he might (just) have got away with black mail. But as said upthread, Elly could have gone straight to his doctor mum, who would have been horrified and furious with her son, and Elly would have been safe. Why on earth didn't she do that?

Seahawk80 · 12/05/2019 05:04

@WhiteVixen I missed that too, probably because I can't bear Roxy and look at my phone for a lot of her scenes!

SheeshKebab · 13/05/2019 15:52

Eh? Did Ned do that at the community centre? Why would he do that? Who did he meet? So many questions 🤨

SpanishFly · 13/05/2019 16:23

I must have dozed off in that episode, seemed have missed something re the community centre and Ned too 🤔

Clawdy · 13/05/2019 18:47

They will all think it's Finn, won't they? Was Ned trying to frame him?

Starburst8 · 13/05/2019 19:17

I didn't get that... Is it to make Ned look like the culprit or is he the actual culprit trying to frame Finn? What was the letter all about?
Totally confused by today's episode

JustLooking2019 · 13/05/2019 21:00

His face when they were all outside the community centre certainly looked guilty

Smidge001 · 13/05/2019 23:10

I don't know who the letter was from, but I think ned was framing finn. What a twat. Maybe he did the razor thing too?

Why didn't elly just say no, Sean isn't the father? She lies to mark about everything, but seems incapable of telling a lie to anyone else. Bizarre.

SpanishFly · 14/05/2019 06:15

The Elly thing is ludicrous. And the writers dont seem to consider the future of the character when they write such farfetched storylines. How could Elly ever be liked again by the viewers?

Glitterblue · 14/05/2019 17:44

What the hell accent was Mea trying to do when she phoned Ned and asked how the housework was going? Whatever she was going for, I think she failed!!!

BusMum79 · 14/05/2019 21:25

@Glitterblue I think she was aiming for Scottish as she made a Mrs Doubtfire reference - which I thought was a bit weird because, although I regard it as one of the all-time cinematic greats, I’m about 20 years older than Bea and I’m sure it must pre-date her by about a decade!

MiddleClassProblem · 14/05/2019 21:55

Harry was seriously deep in that foliage... Had he been waiting there all day just in case some random towns folk talked about Finn nearby?

MiddleClassProblem · 14/05/2019 21:56

Who set fire to the evidence boxes? Have the writers forgotten about that?

AGnu · 15/05/2019 09:07

The subtitles informed me that Mea's weird voice was an attempt at a Scottish accent. I wouldn't have known otherwise!

MrsSteveMcDonald · 15/05/2019 19:16

Kyle is driving me utterly bonkers with his stupid dropping random German words into every sentence. We get it writers, he went to Germany for a while but now he's back in the country he grew up in and nobody around him is speaking German so he isn't going to keep naturally doing it
