Am I the only person reeling from the last episode? - the startling fourth wall breaks... the ending... absolutely brilliant!

Oh it’s so clever! The sister relationship in the last one - Clare jealous of Fleabag despite being in her massive office - that’s me and my sister entirely! Their whole relationship speaks so much about difficult sister relationships to me.

It’s a genius show - so incisive and on the nose but at the same time absurd and abstract. Glad she is getting the recognition and appreciation she deserves and excited to see what she goes on to do.

I'm reeling too! I've watched it twice. The second time I was saying to DH, "isn't it amazing? The priest knows when she's disappeared into her own head... he can FEEL IT..." and DH was looking at me like, "Meh, ok, whatever." 🙄

I loved that scene. It gave me real chills. And it was the BEST portrayal of light drunkenness that I've ever seen. Totally believable.

So you're definitely not alone in your reeling.

I'm tempted to have a Barak Obama moment with the last few minutes of that episode smoking hot!

I really hated the first series. Have just watched all of the second series to date and it's fantastic: clever - but not quite smart arsed - script, perfect casting. The sister is definitely the most interesting character.

SavageBeauty I think it comes from the theatre stage, where you have an imaginary 4th wall between the actors and the audience, but some plays will break the wall and talk to the audience, in TV its used for the character talking to the audience or if the camera pulls back and you see the boom/camera crew etc.

That's the one I'm talking about - if you think the fourth wall was broken in episode 3 just WAIT til you see how she plays with it in Episode 4! It's a shocker alright.
