I'm just a little bit excited about the new series

Didn't realise it was back so soon, I've just read ...... "The show’s officially due to return on AMC on February 10, yet it’ll be made available of AMC Premiere subscribers on February 3" ........ so does that mean its already been on and I can watch it tonight ?

Whilst I'm starting to enjoy the show again I think the time jumps are now a way to disguise some lazy writing and take the piss slightly with the realism she says about a zombie show .

I really enjoyed it. Felt like the closure I needed after last week.
I am hoping that it was alicia from ftwd on the radio but just speculation.

Im currently watching it, I don't get how some walkers are frozen and the ones buried in the snow aren't 🤷🏻‍♀️

My husband said the same thing. He also said surely most of the walkers, including the huge hoard, would have frozen solid in that sort of weather so surely there cannot be many left.

Agree and if any of them have read Max Brooks' the Zombie Survival Guide they'd know now is the time to go out and decapitate etc. whilst they're frozen solid.

I guess it would depend on how decayed they were? The water content left in their organs, skin etc?

I was wondering how they outwalked the snow too Stormy, not even as if they are fast walkers! - I wonder if they are supposed to be used to anticipating the weather as Alpha did mention she thought it would be a hard winter and maybe they had set off a couple of weeks earlier. Is alpha supposed to have remained behind as Beta said their time apart did the group good?

Fourhigh I was tense too and felt it was slightly an anti-climax - I quite liked it though in a little house in the prairie way

We rolled our eyes at the walkers in the snow, they would surely have been frozen too? Didn't Daryl give Dog to Connie? Where was Connie? I liked Ezekiel warning off Daryl but I hope the show don't put Carol and Daryl together they've had 8 years or whatever to get together and haven't, it's almost a mother son thing they have.

They said on Talking Dead that the Whisperers migrated (South?) with their hoard. Also why was the Kingdom so mashed up?

We rewound but didn't think the voice was Maggie, it'll be some new characters. I wish it had been Rick though it would have been so exciting! He could have said 'is there anyone out there? This is Rick Grimes...' it would have been the most exciting thing on the series. Eventually leading to a group going to search for him and leaving the comfort of the Hilltop. Although it still annoys me they didn't see or hear that helicopter.

Can't wait for Michonne to realise only Negan has the strategy to beat Alpha next season. I love this new Negan just being sarcastic in the corner, he's got a point about the Father not the Father thing. Rosita would never go out with Gabriel, man I wish Gabriel'd have been spiked, I cannot stand his character and the idea all these hot women would fall for him is preposterous. I'd rather go out with Eugene.

Don't think the programme is too bothered by the inconsistencies (I was complaining about them last week - favourite topic of mine!)

This week my main moan was the fact where the Whisperers were it wasn't only not just not snowing but the trees were in full leaf.

We had the same moan about them being in some tropical climate

Also if they were miles and miles away in the warm then why was Ezekiel et al so worried about crossing their snowy boarders...they weren’t even around!

I can't explain it either! All of the time jumps are annoying me slightly, so much is happening that we don't get to see, and I agree with a PP it is lazy writing.
