Sleeping sorry to disappoint you but there will be no fist fight. We will each flirt outrageously with him, especially when the other is on the other side of the room side-eyeing. Dean will find the whole thing hilarious. Eventually we'll have a showdown on the beach where we'll slap each other before Irene comes out to berate us for falling out over some fella. She'll remind us what good friends we used to be & make us apologise to each other. Once she's gone back to the diner we'll make up & agree that neither of us will date Dean.

A week later qazxc will be having an affair with John Palmer & be totally cool when I admit that I got drunk & ended up in a van with Dean & we're getting married tomorrow before anyone finds out about our love child.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 07/02/2019 20:53

No-one feeling the love for the Morgan brothers then? Grin

Come on, come on, a quick round of snog, marry, avoid.

I'd marry Brody, snog Justin (before or after the lecture he's going to get on coercive control? I haven't decided) and avoid Mason. A lot.

AGnu If you're robbing my fella I expect a better alternative than John Palmer. Surely you could get Dean to set me up with one of his hot riverboy mates and we can all have beers round the campfire. I'd watch Ziggy though, she'll soon realise that she has married the most boring man on the planet and make a play for Dean.
I'd marry Mason(because he probably make decent money as a doctor. Also between the doctoring and the gym he probably won't be around much).
Snog Justin
and avoid dull as dishwater Brody.

AGnu · 07/02/2019 23:17

You want a river boy? Ok, you can have Colby! Grin

Marry Brody, snog Mason if he grew his lovely curls again & avoid Mr Controlling. I really have no idea how he keeps getting women to fall for him. Every single one of his girlfriends I thought should've been with Brody. I totally thought that's where they were going with Phoebe when she was trying to sneak out after sleeping with Justin & Brody made her breakfast. Ever since then I've noticed Justin's women would be better with Brody.

SleepingStandingUp · 07/02/2019 23:49

Hahah yes!! Brody needs to date Justin's ex's.

Honestly if we're just going Morgan I'd snog Tori, marry Mason, avoid Dull and Contolley.

Mason can keep me and the kids in a nice house, work lots, reckon he could be trained up in the bedroom.

qazxc · 08/02/2019 16:01

You want a river boy? Ok, you can have Colby! Oooh, now that's fighting talk. Grin

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 09/02/2019 07:41

Fighting talk maybe, but make sure that NO-ONE messes up his hair!

So last year John Palmer was the firebug and a town pariah and now he's on the surf club board and callling the shots. They've very short memories in the Bay....

And the simpering Simone is a teacher turned foodie so give it a month or two and she'll be principal of Summer Bat High.

qazxc · 09/02/2019 13:41

When Palmer came in wasn't he that much of a dick that his son tried to blow up a school bus? Personality transplants and short memories are a staple in the bay.

Norfolkenchancemate · 09/02/2019 23:32

Is anyone else perturbed re Colbys lips? They're just a bit too plump for my liking, his lips and robbos teeth would throw me over the edge!

Norfolkenchancemate · 09/02/2019 23:33

And that chef-y woman, god, she's making me itch.

Focalpoint · 10/02/2019 08:55

Palmer only role is to give Alf something to do. I reckon whenever Alf hangs up his fishing rod for the last time, Palmer will have a fatal medical condition pretty quickly.

SleepingStandingUp · 10/02/2019 10:24

Haha yeah

Cherrypie32 · 12/02/2019 13:39

So hopefully Bella sticks around and we get one sassy new teen to bump up the numbers.

Blobby10 · 12/02/2019 13:58

Is it just me or is the Colby character really hard to warm to? Can't believe he expected Bella to just accept his side of things when she's been brainwashed for so long that he is the bad guy. I guess the 'kidnapping' will lead the way for a story line involving bad boy Ross trying to kidnap Bella back and her not wanting to go and eventually ending up at Irene's place (or John and Maz's) as she won't want to live with Colby and Robbo!

SleepingStandingUp · 12/02/2019 14:00

Where are Colby and Woman gonna love when they marry?
Where will Elly and Mark live? (yeah yeah, I don't care)

Why do so many Australians marry without proper thoughts about living together first / having their own home to move into????

Cherrypie32 · 12/02/2019 14:20

Colbys not going to marry shiney Kate. Im chuckling to myself about your assumption that the houses of multiple occupancy in Erinsborough and Summer Bay are representative of Australia as a whole.

AiryFairy1 · 12/02/2019 19:46

@Sleeping “but we love each other and that’s all that matters” (Robbo could move in with Jas at Irene’s, although I’m doubtful of a reconciliation between Colby/puppy and Shiny Eyebrow girl )
Ps another Dean fan here, but I think he and Willow should get back together!

AGnu · 13/02/2019 00:27

I think Bella will try to convince Shiny Kate to get back together with Colby by doing some impassioned speech about him rescuing her & being a hero. Shiny Kate will agree to give him another chance, but swears to break up with him if he ever goes River Boy again. He will, she'll dump him but then get kidnapped & he'll go rogue to save her. Either she'll die in the process, she'll be grateful but know that he'll always be like that & ask her daddy to get her a new job starting immediately, or they'll decide they need a fresh start away from the area & ride off into the sun together, leaving Bella at Irene's.

They need another male teen. Just as Ryffy are finally getting together they're going to be interrupted by a streetwise girl with abandonment issues who could bond with Ryder over their difficult upbringings... I adore Raffy so I already don't like Bella just because of a potential storyline that might happen at some point in the future!

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 13/02/2019 07:14

They can't put Bella with Ryder! The actor playing Bella is 22 and she doesn't half look it! He at least looks convincing as a teenager. Mind you, he is actually 24, but Olivia Deeble, who plays Raffy, is 16 so that's a bit - icky in itself...

Of course it is you flamin Galah.

Australians also drink tons of take out coffee at home, rarely cook and instead live on take out or eat in at two eateries in town and only date people in their immediate circle, even if your Mum, Sister and Grandad have already tapped it.

AGnu · 13/02/2019 11:40

Ryder's really 24?! That's just wrong! Is Australia lacking in actual teenagers?! Ew at Ryffy now! She's 2/3 of his age!

So Australians usually drink out of teeny pint glasses? They always seem to be given really small glasses when they go for a drink in the middle of the day. On the odd occasion that I've been to the pub to drink in the middle of the day people ordering "a beer" will automatically be given a pint.

Cherrypie32 · 13/02/2019 13:25

Sleeping deffo a soap rather than Ozzie thing. DH piss ourselves at the residents of Albert Square and Corrie constantly drinking coffee in the cafes next to their houses. Often these people fairly low income. Most of the Australian characters have a fair level of income at least..but then they save so much splitting the rent/mortgage right Grin

SleepingStandingUp · 13/02/2019 13:29

Cherry you're misguided. Home and Away and basically docusoaps. That's how it works, honest.

Also two teachers can basically run a school single handedly whilst literally any one walks in and out with no record being made of it.

It always amazes me when a teen finally has a drink at 17/18, and gets blind drunk on a few bottles but that legitimately may be a poor reflection on the UKs teen drinking culture
