So if watching you all now know who the head belongs to

LLCoolKay · 03/03/2019 21:52

Niels is Baptiste son isn't he? Did you see Baptiste face when he said he has AB blood

purpleme12 · 03/03/2019 21:59

He's his son!

LLCoolKay · 03/03/2019 22:02

knew it !

Clawdy · 03/03/2019 22:02

Stratton's enormous forehead fascinates me - it's as big as the rest of his face.

SosigisAndCornflourSauce · 03/03/2019 22:10

I want Stratton and his huge fod to live! I want him and Baptist to be friends and everyone live happily ever after ... not really bothered about the fate of the old dude and his grandson, I'd like the GSD to be spared though!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2019 22:22

episode 3 recap

aristocat · 03/03/2019 22:29

I thought he was Baptiste's son!!

LillianGish · 03/03/2019 22:32

Well that episode kind of tied everything up - who the decapitated man was, how Stratton fits in with the Romanians, where the money came from, why Tulip man took the boy and who the boy is. Now we need to find out who stole the money (I’m thinking Kim?), find And rescue Nathalie’s sister and find out who Jessica Raine was apologising to at the start and why. I’m not finding this as gripping as The Missing (either of them) - is it just me?

GoldenSyrupLion · 03/03/2019 22:35

I didn't like The Missing so gave up after 2 episodes. This is so much better but I'm not sure I really know what's going on.

AngelinaNeurosurgeon · 03/03/2019 22:44

Lillian me neither. I don't like Baptiste's family being at the heart of the story and some things just aren't realistic, albeit I'm prepared to suspend disbelief for a cracking drama.
Eg if the boy suddenly vanished from the hospital why the lack of concern from staff? Didn't the dad ask where he was when he returned to the ward?
And how did Mrs Baptiste escape the clutches of the meter reader? She said she slammed the door of the flat and ran, but how and where did she run if she was in a flat? And how did she eventually call Baptiste if no phone?
And why did the farmer leave E1m in his boot overnight?
I'll stick with it though.

Nelumbo · 03/03/2019 23:00

Who was the woman Julian spoke to with the new flat screen tv, Mrs Walker?

I thought the commanders son was a baddy somehow but now I'm not sure.
I wonder why she never told Julian he had a son?

And bloody hell, Why would you leave that amount of money in the boot of a car!

triplets · 03/03/2019 23:04

I live a stones throw from the house on the beach we’re the father had his head chopped off, makes me feel sick and creepy!

Stickladylove88 · 03/03/2019 23:12

Nelumbo she was the nurse from the hospital

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 04/03/2019 06:36

Nelumbo I'm assuming the little boy's grandfather gave her a backhander (hence the new TV) to get rid of the ten minutes' missing CCTV footage.

I'm wondering whether Baptiste's son will turn out to be dodgy.

Celia isn't the mother of Baptiste's daughter, is she?

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 04/03/2019 07:44

If blood type AB is the universal recipient how come Baptiste's son had to wait half an hour for blood when he was haemorrhaging? Obviously it was a plot device 'wake up' moment for Baptiste but doesn't make sense medically (or does it)?

RedForShort · 04/03/2019 07:48

Was Anna Walker (think that was her name- doctor with big screen) the same Doctor as the one who Baptiste's son refused a prosthetic testicle from?

JustDanceAddict · 04/03/2019 07:56

I though that about the car too. I don’t even leave my glasses in the car!!

peoplepleaser1 · 04/03/2019 08:42

I know it's ridiculous but I want to know what the boy's grandpa did with his GSD? Did I miss that bit? The dog would have been a great deterrent against stealing the money if he'd been in the car.

I think the person who sold him the new car took the money- they seemed to be watching him as he put the hold-all in the boot after handing over a huge pile of cash.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 04/03/2019 08:45

“A shell’s just a shell never mind what it looks like on the outside” in the first episode and then “There’s no point pretending to be one thing when really you are another” That could very easily apply to Kim Vogel for one.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/03/2019 08:46

He was silly to leave in the car

I get the feeling the farmer/grandad doesn’t like his son much. But loved NATALIE his dil and obv grandson

Yes the hospital don’t seem very concerned a child has gone missing

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 04/03/2019 08:59

What happened to the tulip farmer's dog in yesterday evening's episode? Was half expecting its body to be in the boot (instead of the money).

ColeHawlins · 04/03/2019 09:36

He was silly to leave in the car

It's a weakness in the writing.

hopeishere · 04/03/2019 09:51

I don't think it was the person who sold him the car who was watching. I think that and some earlier shots were to indicate he was being followed.

I think we're supposed to assume he was so concerned about the grandson that he forgot about the bag.

And yes! Shocking procedures in the hospital!!!

FoxSquadKitten · 04/03/2019 09:59

I know it's ridiculous but I want to know what the boy's grandpa did with his GSD?

All through yesterday's episode, whenever I saw the grandad I was shouting 'where's his dog gone?'. I bet he'll soon turn up dead in the tulip field.

Was what Edward Stratton said about Natalie true? Because I'm sure she said that he had broken her jaw - when was that supposed to have happened?
