Can you believe we are on thread 50! This is for all discussions on the BBC series Our Girl and any possible future series. Reference to Captain James is particularly welcome.

I know what you mean Bonnie. I'd be over the moon (as they say these days) if LT were to return as MD but unfortunately it really all sounded very vague and up in the air. The new baby is obviously going to be a major change in her life and as she does always come over as a real family person it could be that her acting career would be on the back burner for a while.

Bonnie it's a nice thought that LT might consider a return one day, but it sounds like it would have to be something special and fit in with all her other commitments. Perhaps a little spin-off but very unlikely - shame, but I couldn't see BA/CJ appearing in anything, so it would lose half it's appeal for me .

Well it aint exactly the SAS scaling rooftops and drainpipes but there's a lot of activity in that mock village - "Three Section" are making an assault on that house. The young new recruit is getting some leg pulling.

Oh dear Monroe has put his foot through the ceiling.

Meanwhile the ladies are eyeing up their next posting to Hong Kong. Donna's looking a lot smarter this series. Nancy is envious.

Forget that statement about Donna - I just clocked the white shoes!

Paddy and Nancy are at cross purposes when it comes to marriage and proposals.

Tony Wilton is really quite annoying.

Oh look it's two new contestants for Dancing on Ice - don't think the wardrobe department have done them any favours.

So Paddy has history with Jimmy Monroe's older brother.

Nancy drops a really big hint - Paddy plays hard to get - this is going to end well.

Someone's played a nasty trick on Monroe - this leg-pulling is going too far and now Paddy's got the wrong idea about Jimmy. Hint of something bad from Paddy's past.

Nancy has proposed to Paddy and he looks pretty pleased about it. Looks like his plan worked. Yet another splendid creation in the jumper department for Nancy.

This is a rather complex episode.

Indeed eejit there is a lot going on - just feeling very sorry for poor Donna after making such an effort to clean her house for being marched out and to have all those noisy men making a mess of it all.

I think it's quite a good episode for showing how what seems like mild leg-pulling can descend into a culture of bullying.

Now Nancy has found out about the episode in Paddy's past and something has really hit the fan!

I thought it must be something unexpected ilove - sorry to hear it's bad news.

Just realised the Sergeant is older than I thought - he's saying he's been married about 25 years by the time this episode aired. I suppose he could be early/mid forties - they married young.

I like the way Nancy gets round the sergeant. Now she's gone to do some detective work.

Nancy has gone to find Paddy's old mate to find out the "truth" about the incident - now back on the live firing exercise.

Poor Nancy is heartbroken.

I can't quite find the place on the DVD to catch you up.

My friend has had 2 deaths in her family within the week.
