Yes, Major Tom moved onto Four Weddings and a Funeral after this.

Watch out Joy's got that sweatshirt on again - the wardrobe budget was limited on this series - probably nothing left after paying all the army extras.

His name is Clive something ilove. I first remember seeing him in a TV production of 'A Kind of Loving' back in the early 80's. I read the book afterwards. Strange what sticks in your mind.

Especially if you are promoted but still stay with the same bunch of guys. I've seen it so many times when I was working. Far better if you are promoted then go to manage a different group of people.
