I don't understand about Alfie and the car(s) ... the one that was in the pristine garage that he was offering to Phil a security on the loan was definitely not a Rover, but the police told Kat that it was his Rover that was found on the cliff top. Has Alfie absconded with the garaged car and the left the entire £50k in the wardrobe for Kat?

Yep Alfie has left Phils £50k in the wardrobe for Kat, taken his ford to the edge of a cliff and staged a suicide and then snuck back and taken the Capri from the lock up and taken off to bide his time until he can return for Kat and kids, probably cherry too and drive off into the sunset.

I wished my wardrobe rained money : best I get is the odd shoe falling out onto my foot.

Are we supposed to believe Alfie is dead so Phil not chase him for the money. Then few days Kat will go and set up new life on the horizon? Here’s hoping. For 50k she could probable rent Kim’s old house for about a year.

The rover was Alfie's car that Kat smashed the windows in on and then he later tried to do a runner with cherry in. The one in the lockup was a ford Capri (although not the same one he and Kat drove off I to the sunset in a few years back) I'm guessing it wasn't Alfie's Capri at all just borrowed to scam Phil. Love that in all the angst of did Alfie drive of a cliff (we all hope so) the kids and babies all vanished! Lily Arthur hope tommy Bert Ernie and cherry - not one to be seen or heard!

Do they get paid the same whatever they do? They could have had Sonia doing health visitor job at Slaters. Drug advice to Keegen. Sexual health to all teens, PND for Haley and offering concussion leaflets to those playing football.

Sonia could also be in hand to remove bullets/ patch up black eyes, cuts & bruises and tend to the many people that get run over on the square

Stu actor is very good. Makes Danny Dyer look like the absolute amateur he is.

I was gutted when DD's nomination clip on the TV awards the other night was a scene with Mick and Stu. It was bad enough that DD looked bad compared to the other actors in clips from rival soaps, but he looked amateur against Ricky Champ. And he bloody won the category

I've no idea what Keegan was buying but I thought drugs made you sleepy or dance a lot. It was powder so I guess coke? Was his behaviour portrayed accurately? I agree about Stu but Hayley is awful IMO. Bit of a one trick pony who can only do angst and anger (so, two tricks I guess). I thought her sobbing scene whenAlfie stole Cherry was awful.

I love how Evie continues to wear her big red coat and look so suspicious hanging around everywhere, i imagine that drug dealing is more likely to take place in back alleyways or remote places, not the middle of a busy town square, at least out of the way a bit of prying eyes.
i agree that its taken a nose dive recently ( apart from Stuart acting them all off the screen) and so many different stories.
