Although I can't think about January yet...

I'm still in denial it's nearly December- which means ds will be 16 , and I will be 47 and another year will be over.

aww, ball dogs! you would have to be careful what dogs you got. Otherwise you might end up with either lots of shredded balls, or dogs like mine who would just sit there looking like ' I don't care if you are Novak Djokovic, get it yourself Grin.

'and I won't be bribed with a biscuit. Got any cheese?'

Raahhdog will do almost anything for cheese.

I can understand not doing it for Novak Raahh but what about for Rafa? Grin

PrivateEggnog · 10/12/2018 12:35

What if the players brought their own dogs?!

PrivateEggnog · 10/12/2018 12:38

I couldn't find the champions tournament on TV either. It's definitely been on the BBC in previous years. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from lack of tennis Xmas Angry

Raahh · 10/12/2018 12:43

Kazza I would volunteer my dog for Rafa. (He'd never do, it, but it would be worth a go Grin) He would end up curled up in a pile of towels. The dog, that is, not RafaGrin.

Private can you imagine Kevin's teeny tiny dog trying to fetch the balls? It would give AC something to talk about, anyway Grin.

PrivateEggnog · 10/12/2018 12:45

Raahh that's the exact dog that came to mind! Haha! AC would be in his element.

magimedi · 10/12/2018 13:30

Was also very Angry that the champions' tennis was not on TV. Enough berluddy snooker though.....

Weather actually reasonable & dry here - for once- so am about to go & do some gardening for an hour or so.

PrivateEggnog · 13/12/2018 16:47

Rafa has signed up for next year's Laver Cup in Geneva.

I would love to go to that....

magimedi · 13/12/2018 22:32

It might be lovely to see Rafa -but, I promise you, Geneva is a s**t hole (and very expensive one).

I have to fly into Geneva to see the family & I am always so happy to get out of there.

PrivateEggnog · 13/12/2018 23:12

Aw magi is it?? Going there was part of the appeal. I have been to Geneva airport Xmas Grin (on the way to Chamonix) but never stayed/visited Geneva itself.

Perhaps I'll have a rethink. Barcelona for the ATP500 maybe?! I can dream!!....

JaneJeffer · 13/12/2018 23:28

I'm off to Monte-Carlo in April in my dreams

PrivateEggnog · 13/12/2018 23:34

I also quite fancy Indian Wells, with its 350 days of sun a year, or whatever it is.

JaneJeffer · 13/12/2018 23:41

Anywhere with a bit of sunshine would be welcome. I feel like it's just getting bright when it starts getting dark again these days! Note to self: do Euromillions

PrivateEggnog · 13/12/2018 23:47

I know, it's depressing isn't it? It was pretty much dark when I picked DS up from school today. Ugh.

Australian Open starts a month from tomorrow! We need a tennis advent calendar to count it down.

JaneJeffer · 13/12/2018 23:54

Is it on TV or do Amazon have it now?

PrivateEggnog · 14/12/2018 00:36

I think it's on Eurosport

Raahh · 14/12/2018 17:49

After noon all. I've been laid low with a hideous migraine that started on Wednesday. It was a bit scary because it's a while since I've had one like it- I went completely numb down one side. Hemiplegic migraines mimic a stroke and ive ended up in hospital twice because of it.

Was bad because I was driving at the time and have had to leave my car 5 miles away until dh ( who came to rescue me) can take me back to get it.

Apart from that, the week is going great!Grin

JaneJeffer · 14/12/2018 21:36

Oh God that sounds awful Raahh.
My friend got one of those and ended up in hospital too as they weren't sure if it was a stroke.

Take it easy Thanks

magimedi · 14/12/2018 22:04

Raahh - just try to rest - my father was a doctor & he always said that sleep was the best medicine. Over the years I totally agree with him.

Hope you feel better asap.

Flowers Flowers Flowers

PrivateEggnog · 14/12/2018 22:22

That sounds terrifying Raahh - I agree with magi about sleep! I get migraine quite regularly - sometimes with aura which is scary enough - but hemiplegic migraine is on a whole other level! Flowers and Cake for you, as I find carbs also help!!

PrivateEggnog · 14/12/2018 22:29

Possibly also some shite Christmas films, Hallmark-style?! Have you seen Stealing Christmas yet?!

Raahh · 14/12/2018 22:35

I am currently dozing off on the sofa waiting for dd1 to come home. I am indulging Christmas songs from days gone by on TOTP 2GrinThey've just played a totally none festive Coldplay song though and I'm confused.

OP posts:
Raahh · 14/12/2018 22:36

( and my series planner might be over filled with shocking Hallmark Christmas films to catch upon)Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 14/12/2018 22:40

is Stealing Christmas the one with Tony Danza? I've not seen that this year. Though I've seen my favourite'bad' one- the Christmas Shepherd, about a dog who goes .missing and the owner has to get him back and then they fall in lurve....twice.Grin

OP posts:
PrivateEggnog · 14/12/2018 22:46

Grin I haven't seen that one - sounds ace! Will look out for it.

Stealing Christmas is operating on a whole other level Xmas Grin it's great. Betty White is also in it. I have a bit of a thing for Tony Danza Xmas Blush even in a Santa suit

Let me know if you see it so we can discuss its many plot holesbrilliance.
