Maybe in a couple of months they'll realise that it was a big mistake & have Toadie suddenly wake up & look over at Sonya sleeping peacefully next to him...

WitchSharkadder · 05/03/2019 14:22

I’m totally wrung out after that. Sad

OptimisticallyRealistic · 05/03/2019 14:23

That episode really was something else. I sat there sobbing throughout (still am).

PocketFullOfCrap · 05/03/2019 14:25

I've not cried like that since I was a teen most probably. (And I didn't even like Sonya that much so that just shows how well done it was)

Hope that is remembered when the awards are up.

MinniesAndMickeysNeedCounting · 05/03/2019 14:27

Oh my God. That was heartbreakingly intense.

I dont usually cry at TV programmes but they covered it so well. Eve is such an amazing actress

southnownorth · 05/03/2019 14:44

I think tomorrows episode will be even worse with Carl and Susan and Mark all crying.

I don't wan't Sonya to leave Sad

Starburst8 · 05/03/2019 15:24

@Cherrypie32 Yeah Neighbours isn't a big thing in Australia, it's Home and Away that's big over there. I find it odd.
It works out well for us though hence no break over Christmas. Whereas H&A have the break so we don't catch up too much.

HesterLee · 05/03/2019 15:42

It was the powers that be as her wage is worth three newcomers apparently

Have they never heard of quality over quantity Angry I think they have made a huge mistake getting rid of Sonya/Eve.

SpanishFly · 05/03/2019 16:21

that episode was just amazing, i feel exhausted watching it. Sonya just watching the kids on the beach. I thought she'd have wanted them to hug her one last time, but I also undertsnad her saying she didnt want them to see her like that

Wetdogloveshubert · 05/03/2019 17:16

That episode was so hard to watch! I couldn't help but think of the kids having to see her like that on the beach after, though. Poor Toady. They both acted that beautifully; I haven't watched consistently for a few months but found myself really upset today.

Screw you, neighbours financiers...

thisisreallyfunny · 05/03/2019 17:31

Watching now... tissues at the ready

thisisreallyfunny · 05/03/2019 17:59

Oh my god that was awful to watch. Fantastic acting by both. Sonya will be missed 💔

noenergy · 05/03/2019 18:29

That was so sad. Can't believe they got rid of her. There's no coming back from this. There's so many other useless characters they could have got rid of. So sad thinking about the kids😭

Romanov · 05/03/2019 18:35

It's weird, she was never a favourite character, but I really felt depressed that they are going through this ( I know it's fiction!!! )

I think it was done really well, touching

MrsDeanWinchester75 · 05/03/2019 18:45

Just watched it and sobbed, I haven't cried over a soap for years, reminded me of Meg & Blake in home & away.

Must admit I'm not a Sonya and Toadie fan but felt a connection with her because we were pregnant and gave birth to a girl at the same time and it really hit home how terrifying it must be to know you're dying and leaving your young children.

I'll be in bits when Susan cries, she's a phenomenal actress and always sets me off

Romanov · 05/03/2019 18:52

You could see Toadies heart breaking

Christ....I can't believe that I'm crying over a bloody soap!!!!

Hellomatey001 · 05/03/2019 18:59

Sob sob sob sob......

Worse than when Daphne died!

Bravo to Eve Morley and Ryan Moloney.

Sob...

Starburst8 · 05/03/2019 19:08

Just caught the last 10mins of it and oh my, that was heartbreaking. I had intentions to watch the full thing but I don't think I can do it. The part when Sonya said "you've saved me so many times, you can't save me now" (might not be word for word) got me 🤧
I'm now sat here thinking poor kids. Susan on the 'next time on' "why did she have to die" has already got me blubbing Sad

SleepingStandingUp · 05/03/2019 19:35

Waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sad Sad Sad

Heartbreaking

AlbertWinestein · 05/03/2019 19:55

I’m already welling up at the idea of Toadie falling sobbing into Karl and Susan’s arms and I haven’t even watched today’s yet!

TheWomanTheyCallJayne · 05/03/2019 19:58

Just watched.
That’s all I can manage to say

CurbsideProphet · 05/03/2019 20:03

I've just finished watching. I don't usually get emotional watching tv, as there's a part of brain saying "it's not real, they're just thinking about their lunch break". My god that was so beautiful I actually sobbed.

I can't believe they would keep Yashvi / Bea / Elly / Dipi and axe Eve. No wonder Neighbours isn't really watched in Australia. I hope that Eve goes on to great things.

Jaxtellerswife · 05/03/2019 20:04

Really beautifully done, I can't believe how much that affected me! I was going to watch with my OH later but he's on his own lol.
Eve morey was great, I'm going to put happy telly on now

DrBuckles · 05/03/2019 20:16

Yowsers. That was a difficult watch, my sinuses are messed up!

I can’t stop thinking about the kids looking round to see her now though and how awful it would be Sad
