Yeah, and he was all cocky about knowing how to do it. I thought that but was really odd to include.

MiddleClassProblem · 12/01/2019 17:20

And I thought Terese had to do a little hop to get the bullet. It looked a bit comical.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 12/01/2019 18:03

Costa truly! Gary could manage better than that.

goldengummybear · 12/01/2019 18:09

How is the Waterhole "out of sight of everyone"? Surely you're much more likely to catch him alone in his office or the loos?

MorningsEleven · 12/01/2019 18:11

Bless her, Therese could pass for one of Sheila's gnomes.

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 12/01/2019 18:31

I know, the one thing you can guarantee at the Waterhole is that the lights will be on brightly at all times of day, leaving no corner unilluminated.

SleepingStandingUp · 12/01/2019 19:45

which bit of Leo was the gunman aiming at that meant Therese managed to take the bullet? His knee? stomach? Slow and painful death in the quiet privacy of the WHole?

Oh! How gorgeous is Mark?

He can come and wipe my worktops anytime he likes.

Elly is just annoying and doesn't deserve him

SleepingStandingUp · 12/01/2019 19:56

Yeah I'm sure it's your worktops you want his hands on 😂 😂

Even if Therese jumped, I’m sure the only part of her body that would be anywhere near a vital (ahem) organ of Leo’s would be her forehead. Gunshot wounds to the head are kind of hard to pull off as survival, and I will laugh my sizeable arse off of Therese has to have a massive scar in the middle of her forehead for ever more. Will be hard to pull off her ‘I’m a serous business woman with a cape’ look when she looks like an extra from a horror movie.

MiddleClassProblem · 12/01/2019 20:11

I think in the next week preview it was a wound near her clavicle when she was lying on the ground.

Although tbf I haven’t assessed how tall the gunman was. He might be tiny...

TheEfficientBaxter · 12/01/2019 20:20

Yes, well, maybe not my worktops, but I would welcome Mark's OCD tendencies any time.

Starburst8 · 12/01/2019 22:52

Oh I'm a bit late to party but it's fairly unlikely to have a gig in middle of day and not have anyone know about it. And yes get rid of Bea ASAP shame she wasn't there when gunman was shooting... remind me not to hire him, he's got to be the worse gunman with a bad aim ever!
Haha Mark "wiping down worktops" to be fair I wouldn't mind him coming round to mine, give me the day off from doing itGrin

TheWashingFairyatemyhamster · 12/01/2019 23:14

Middle maybe it ricocheted off Leo’s belt into Therese but she’s gonna take the credit for saving his life anyway.

TheEfficientBaxter · 13/01/2019 21:27

What part of "somewhere quiet with no witnesses" did that gunman not understand, I wonder?

gendercritter · 14/01/2019 13:40

He was the worst assassin ever Grin

TheEfficientBaxter · 14/01/2019 16:11

Not sure assassin is the right word Hmm

Leo's hardly a VIP, is he?

woodhill · 14/01/2019 19:53

The situation in the coffee shop was beyond stupid. Why didn't Ellie text Mark or someone else to tell police to come there and why didn't police visit anyway

GoldenSyrupLion · 14/01/2019 19:55

Quite, Woodhill. I was shouting at the telly.

BareBelliedSneetch · 14/01/2019 20:07

It’s just occurred to me that Piper never goes to visit her dad. I get that there are long distances involved, but she never goes to see him.

I remember reading The Divorce Express as a teen, about American kids that would get the bus for hours every week me to see the non-resident parent. Don’t Australian children do the same sort of thing?

Cherrypie32 · 14/01/2019 21:23

woodhill anything would have made it less obvious they’d clocked him than what they did. Hadn’t Chloe walked in to say they had to stay so could have walked out to tell the cops.

MiddleClassProblem · 14/01/2019 21:38

BareBelliedSneetch

Not even at Christmas. She didn’t even think “I’ll pop and see my dad, stepmum, sister, stepsister and two nieces on Boxing Day...” nor did Ned tbf and Terese isn’t even his bio parent.

MiddleClassProblem · 14/01/2019 21:39

BTW I didn’t mean stepkids shouldn’t spend time with their stepparents on their own but she did hate him until the last year or so...

Lovewineandchocs · 14/01/2019 21:53

I thought it was more that he resented her for taking his dad away, but then realised that Drab was just a crap dad? I think Terese was always ok with Ned but Beth apparently stopped him spending too much time with Brad’s “other family.” Although Drab could have done tons more. Ned lost contact with everyone when he started that biker gang stuff and burgled Doug and Pam’s house. As to why Piper and Ned aren’t in a hurry to go to Queensland? One word-Jack Grin (I know Piper could have gone before!)

MiddleClassProblem · 14/01/2019 22:39

Nah Terese thought Ned was trouble and . But then Tersese used to treat everyone like shit.

Today was ridiculous! Although I’d love it if Ned was offered a cop job instead of Mark 😂

Jane was so annoying with her analysis too.
