You may be able to tell that I am a little bit cross at how the standard has dropped over time for GBBO.

I think they misjudged how people would view his cringy expressions. I reckon they thought he'd be charming and a nation's sweetheart whereas most of us find him annoying and fake. If it were filmed live it might not have been the same result. Ruby is my winner.
