CJ seems reasonably normal at this point. Yes, he is posh.

"What can go wrong?" Well quite a lot actually Georgie and you won't have long to wait.

Hm - having been bereaved myself though not as violently as Georgie, I reckon it would take more than six months regimental duties anywhere to get over it.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:08

Sorry to hear that eejit. I agree that it would normally take much longer than that, even with a relatively straightforward death (if you know what I mean).

I never did see the point of this obstacle race really other than to show Brains having a strop and then when we did find out why he had thrown a wobbler, it was never really mentioned again.

Ooh Brains has got a cob on!

Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:11

Yes digging holes for the council is definitely embarrassing.

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:12

Never quite saw why Brains took his worries out on Rab

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:14

Brains had always been the clever one in previous series but when Rab arrived, I think it was implied he was actually more intelligent than Brains, wasn't it?

Love Rab’s philosphy.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:15

I love the comment "does God speak in your funny little accent?" It makes me laugh every time.

Gasp

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:16

Noooooo, gorgeous Elvis. Still not over his death you know.

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:18

It would have been more convincing is she’d continued to have the flashbacks and memories - and better fun for us Elvis fans, as long as it wasn’t the death scene.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:19

I find it odd that Maisie doesn't know any details about CJ. Even if she hasn't known him too long, the likes of Brains and Fingers have been with him for a few years now.

Sorry t'internet is playing up tonight.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:20

The Nigerian medic seems so young.

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:21

It was cruel to show us all those old scenes with Elvis earlier. Oh Georgie how could you have turned to CJ???

Here's Bones - this could have been so much more interesting if they'd not messed up his storyline so badly later on.

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:21

Feel the conversation with the Nigerian medic is the ‘educational’ bit - oh, here comes Bones. Wasn’t it blatantly signalled that he’d be back.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:22

Bones - as we come to find out later this is he - is such a thug in this scene. CJ gives no indication he knows who Bones really is.

OP posts:
Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:23

Poor Kid!!

Rhubarb01 · 01/11/2018 21:24

Wish CJ would stop saying "Lane - on me!" He probably means it literally.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:24

Isn't CJ's speech reminiscent of "What have we just learned" from Series 1 out in Afghan?

OP posts:
eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:24

We should have sussed something about the way CJ smiles at Georgie.

Ilovelblue · 01/11/2018 21:27

We're jealous Rhu, we'd be on CJ given half a chance!

eejittwo · 01/11/2018 21:27

Oh, Rab’s family history time.
