So, what do we do now?

Ilovelblue · 18/10/2018 22:08

Hmmm, any ideas?

Am happy to do another watchalong of the last series as we only did it episode by episode as it happened (I think, unless my memory is totally wrong).

Other than that, it's just general chit-chat I guess.

The Nigeria etc series is available in iPlayer for another 3 months, so we have time to work through it all. Can’t do next week at all, but the week after?

Ilovelblue · 18/10/2018 22:13

I'm happy with that - how about you rhu?

Yes, I'm happy to go for a re-watch of the last series - starting in Nigeria post Elvis demise? I have to admit I don't much care for any of the last 8 episodes from a CJ and Georgie point of view and haven't actually purchased them this time, but I can download from iplayer. I'm happy to enjoy the Rab and Maisie story. Week after next is alright with me. Is any day preferable?

eejittwo · 18/10/2018 22:45

Thursday is usually okay for me so far, right up to Christmas.

Rhubarb01 · 18/10/2018 22:50

Yes, I'm usually around on a Thursday too.

Ilovelblue · 18/10/2018 22:55

I'm like Rhu and haven't bought the latest DVD but am making do with the recordings I did. Must say, I did bid for one on eBay but it went for more than I thought.

Are you feeling better Rhu and recovered now?

Anyone else notice Ben in the strictly audience tonight? During Graham Swann's routine I'm sure it was him!

Alwaysfrank · 20/10/2018 19:23

Sorry so surprised and wanting to post that I forgot to say hello, I've not posted for a while!

Alwaysfrank · 20/10/2018 19:56

Definitely him - big close up in Stacey & Kevin judges comments. Obviously a fan, would be lovely to see him in it next time!

eejittwo · 20/10/2018 20:21

BTW - can someone clarify for me what killed Smurf. I think Molly said something about a tiny bleed, presumably in the brain. Was it connected with his injuries from the bridge, or something else?

Magi84 · 20/10/2018 20:46

Hi Always. Yes I certainly saw BA in the Strictly audience. Quite a good close up during Stacey's bit. As you say would be good if he wanted to be in it next year. Mind you some of his dad dancing moves at one point in the last series didn't look too promising.

Hi eejit. We never got a definitive answer to Smurf's cause of death but it seemed to be a tiny brain bleed that he may have had for a while that Might have been aggravated by his injury on the bridge.

kazzaD66 · 20/10/2018 21:58

Evening all! Just watched SCD back on video and thought it was BA but wasn't sure. Can't rewind to look at again because DH here and he knows nowt about my CJ obsession mild interest Grin

Ilovelblue · 21/10/2018 10:22

Morning all. Lovely day here in the north west. Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Always how on earth did I miss BA last night? Am gutted! Had to find him on iplayer. Can only think I had nipped into the kitchen to make a drink between dances. Do we know who the woman was next to him?

What's the odds on any future OG getting even MORE involved with SF?

Ilovelblue · 25/10/2018 19:43

Any reason you ask eejit?

Have you by chance seen that women are to be allowed to apply for SF duties?

OP posts:
Zexoosuxy · 25/10/2018 20:00

Good show?

eejittwo · 25/10/2018 20:39

Indeed - as Elvis would say.
Hours, nay days, if harmless speculation about possible storylines.

eejittwo · 25/10/2018 20:39

Of harmless speculation ...

Rhubarb01 · 25/10/2018 20:48

Evening all. Been AWOL as everything seems to become increasingly busy at the moment.

eejit I saw that news item too this evening so I assumed your question related to women serving in SF. Perhaps Maisie's cheeky enquiry to Elvis will actually come to pass? Mind you, I can't help thinking that if the opening of all roles to women will make series such as OG which focus on the role of women on the front line, seem less and less relevant. If it becomes more normal, there may not seem a need to write a series like this. Perhaps Georgie could get herself permanently assigned as a medic in SF and hopefully leave CJ alone?

ilove sorry about the delay in responding to your question from last week. Yes, all is much better. It was a minor operation for a problem we briefly discussed when we met in March, but it did take me about a week to feel something like my usual self. Fingers crossed, it's all sorted out now for good.

Looking forward to this as, I haven't re-watched since we did the first post-airing watchalong and I can't remember a great deal about it.

Rhubarb01 · 25/10/2018 21:01

And we're off

Rhubarb01 · 25/10/2018 21:01

Georgie is sadly waiting alone and having flashbacks to the moment when Elvis....I can't say it!

Rhubarb01 · 25/10/2018 21:02

Very short shorts that Maisie is sporting there.

Rhubarb01 · 25/10/2018 21:06

Sorry folks, I see I've got the wrong week -never mind it was just long enough to see CJ being lovely. Any ideas when we will do this properly?
