EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 06/11/2018 23:00

How did you discover she was cuddly Shock

Well, I could tell you Rufus but then I'd have to kill you....

Perverse, no, I'm in London.

Night Rufus.

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 06/11/2018 23:02

Pope Joan, & from then on the Pope was supposed to have a chair with a hole in the seat for easy checking. Or something like that.

BeyondVicious · 06/11/2018 23:04

I've heard that but never really thought about it - why is a holey (ha!) chair needed rather than just umm, a pair of eyes?

PerverseConverse · 06/11/2018 23:04

BeyondVicious that article from The Fail was the funniest thing I've read in a while. I nearly spat out my caramel digestive (essential food for endometriosis pain) I was laughing so much. I love that the press (yes even The Fail) are reporting what utter bollocks all this is. Literally.

I'm off to bed too. Night all

Datun · 06/11/2018 23:05

How did you discover she was cuddly

Rufus

I delivered an emergency, lingering embrace to Empress, to throw an unwelcome waiter of the scent, as he was determined to administer her a lingering embrace of his own.

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 06/11/2018 23:07

I delivered an emergency, lingering embrace to Empress

She did.

TalkingintheDark · 06/11/2018 23:12

BeyondVicious 🤣🤣🤣

TalkingintheDark · 06/11/2018 23:20

I don’t know how I know, but I just have this sense there may have been Baileys involved in the run up to said emergency, lingering embrace. Call it feminine intuition, if you will.

TalkingintheDark · 06/11/2018 23:22

Beyond, my hilarity was at your delightful appropriation of the Fail quote wrt Datun’s papal aptitude. In case that wasn’t clear. Threads move a bit too fast for old gimmers like me, sometimes.

Fairenuff · 06/11/2018 23:41

I know, that does not automatically qualify for 'womanhood' from some of your points of view, but what else do I , or any other trans woman need to do more than I have.

This is where you just don't get it. Being female is a biological state. There is nothing anyone can to do become female or stop being female. It is just is. You can't make it. You can't fake it. You can't manufacture it. It really is that simple. Humans can't change sex. Males cannot become females or vice versa.

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 07/11/2018 05:37

Call it feminine intuition, if you will.

Well, if a woman can't have Baileys & emergency embraces from the Holy One on her birthday when can she have them...?

EmpressAdultHumanFemale · 07/11/2018 05:41

Being female is a biological state. There is nothing anyone can to do become female or stop being female. It is just is.

Yes. Being female is not an exclusive club or some kind of value judgment. It's just biology.

NopeNi · 07/11/2018 07:04

Wow it went nuts here last night!

But this little phrase: "You really want transgendered people excluded?"

In case you're really wondering (though I think you know exactly what's meant here and are just throwing a tantrum because we won't bow down):

We want all males excluded from the definition of females, protecting single-sex services.

No matter what the intent or personal feelings or history is of those males. No matter who they're best friends with or where they work or what their mum thinks.

Does that help explain it a bit more?

MadamBatty · 07/11/2018 07:17

I still want to know where I can get those magic hormones that will make every cell in my body 10 years younger. I’m feeling knackered this morning.

Melamin · 07/11/2018 08:29

Wow it went nuts here last night!

It sure did. I found it hard to keep up too! Multiple name changes don't help either. You can't tell whether someone is forgetful, keeps getting thrown off, or is three different people Hmm

I still want to know where I can get those magic hormones that will make every cell in my body 10 years younger. If only...........

So you are on a campaign to exclude transgender people, and you/Datun do have an axe to grind, which contridicts what you claim!

To clarify, I'm on a campaign to exclude men from sex segregated areas where women are vulnerable. I don't care how those men identify. It's immaterial. Men's validation has no business being at women's expense. Ever.

MadamBatty · 07/11/2018 08:46

Exactly @Datun

FekkoThePenguin · 07/11/2018 09:00

The question going around and around is - can a person born a man 'become' a woman?

The answer 'yes because I say so' is not an answer. Nor is 'I was wrongly assigned male as a baby but I have a woman brain/feels'.

With the followup questions - how much of a woman can a man become, what can women 'accept' and feel safe (or that they are genuine - from sex change operations and drug regimes, all the way to a beardy man slapping on a bit of lippy and calling yourself Busty La Boobie), what's the proof necessary, how can we protect women and children from predators, where is the 'common sense' (men declaring that they can physically carry and birth a baby), who control the information and education (and where is the money coming from), motives of those who seek to be spokespeople, who polices the activists and those who harm/seek to harm children...

FekkoThePenguin · 07/11/2018 09:02

And can we go back to good old fashioned transsexual and transvestite? That clarifies a hell of a lot in my opinion. The 'trans umbrella' seems to cover about 90% of the population!

Aridane · 07/11/2018 09:22

But back to Butterfly Blush

Does anyone know what the mainstream media reviews / take on Butterfly had to say?

ApplesinmyPocket · 07/11/2018 09:27

"Being female is not an exclusive club"

That's the thing which often doesn't seem to be understood. We are not meanly excluding trans people from our private clique. Being female is biological, no more and no less - that's what the word MEANS.

I sense an envious hovering outside a closed door, listening jealously for sounds of powder-puffery, make-up tips and girlie talk, from which they feel excluded by our MEANNESS.

It's not like that. We;re not being mean. Biology is what excludes males from the group known as female, not the Meanness of Women like us.

Wear and be and look like however you want. Clothes and feelings and hairstyles are not the preserve of one sex or the other. We WANT to see more males stepping outside the attributes and appearance of what is currently thought to look like 'male'.

Just don't profess to actually be a woman, because you cannot ever be, unless humans evolve into a sex-changing species.
