Tennis thread: towards the end of the season, lots of tennis still to be played!

Hi all, I wasn't sure if Raahh was around so I thought I would start a new thread (thanks ferrier) in case of any urgent tennis news that we might need to start posting about immediately! I'm looking forward to Shanghai this week

Yes it's probably dependent on that Raahh. Ooh also I saw Chickenato won and will play Djokovic next!! Somehow I doubt a repeat of the French Open result... But you never know...

it would be great if he could repeat RG, but something tells me Djok is a different player now.

there are some great pictures on fb this morning of Rafa helping clear up after the floods in Mallorca. He rocks a pair of wellies.

Ah Rafa in wellies - I thought the floods were quite near Manacor.

Still haven’t see any tennis this week - might get to see some this weekend - enjoying all your updates.

Am watching Tsitsipas Vs Anderson. It's great - Stefanos is just running around giving it everything with volleys and finesse, K-Ando is defending brilliantly. Second set tie break now...

They are discussing Tsitsipas' shorts in the studio!! Annabel is saying he's a bit like Rafa when he first came on the scene, because he looked totally different from everyone else!

I've been keeping an eye on the scores, shame Stefanos lost, but I'm actually quite glad for Anderson. Chickenato gave up in the second set , by the look of things.

I've just tuned in to hear Greg saying "make your opponent beat you with their worst shot" I was thinking WTF kind of advice is that and Annabel obviously was too because she queried him on it. I'm still unsure what he meant though!

Raahh I didn't see the Djok match, but they showed a few highlights incl Djok smashing his racquet and Chickenato hitting two "hotdogs" in a row! The second one did not pay off

I've just been out with the dog, and was trying to check the scores whilst it rained on me. So in all in all a tricky combination.

I got quite excited when I saw the score of the second set.

That blush pink is not a good colour for Roger. He's playing well.
