"and I also think Rahul has been set up from the beginning to win the whole thing" the same has been said of previous series but I think what actually happens is its edited after they know the winner so that the winner is more features and in a more positive light. Very noticeable in early episodes as the ones who go out early are barely on screen. I'd rather they edited more evenly - more interesting then as no clues.
Briony cries at the drop of a hat carefully balanced tier of cake so it now just irritates me when she cries
KJ though is normally fairly even temperament so it was tough to see her upset, it's not like her.
I don't think his lack of confidence is COMPLETELY fake but as its part of his personality he'll have spent all his life having to sort of "cajole" himself to do things he fears failing at. In fact I'm wondering if it's more fear of failure (too high standards on himself) rather than true lack of confidence the 2 don't necessarily go together - also how many times have we all felt confident doing X at home only to in a different environment think "fuck I don't think I can do this"?
Op I preferred how BBC did it and I prefer their presenters/judge but the ch4 one isn't awful as I feared. But what does annoy me is that it's on till 2115 which means it clashes with the start of the resident (which I refuse to miss a minute of!) so I have to watch on catch up and struggle to find the time in my hectic viewing schedule
