Were we watching the same programme? It was clearly someone in the next door house. Craddock’s house was to the right as you looked at it and the confrontation took place at the end of the drive in front of the garage. No need to read anything more into things - after the first shot was fired, the NDN looked out of the landing window with a mobile in her hand.

True Detective 2 was awful. But maybe that's bbc because I'd developed a very weird thing for mcconnachy and his white vest. Less the drug habit and philosophy.
