Okay - so I'm going into complete conspiracy theory / mixing fact with fiction here... but I think there's some truth in the Romeo & Juliet idea.

Mercurio (which is only one letter away from Mercutio) is of Italian descent. I don't think Julia's name was any coincidence.

Pebble - hmm that would mean Jed Mercutio's had this planned all along. Are they the sleepers rather than Slash.

Argh - that was meant to say Jed M's parents. Bad joke fail.

In preparation for next episode i have made a cheesecake with double the biscuit base. Reduced fat digestives though so that's all completely fine.

I've not been so industrious, but I did buy in a bottle of Chablis and some Gu desserts

I am jealous of the Chablis. I have enough in a bottle of Rioja for 2 glasses, but need to remain alert.

What if Julia was more honourable than we thought? What if she went to Chequers to warn the PM that the SS were gathering dodgy material against him / ministers.

Home made Nutella cookies and a huge mug of tea are awaiting my DD and me in approximately 17 minutes. We’ve been counting down since Saturday morning!! We’ve told the rest of the family that there must be silence until 10.15pm. They’re looking at us as though we’re mad! I’ve loved read the theories on here tonight. Hope to all catch up afterwards.

The whole hospital "death" announcement, seemed to me to be carefully staged.
In the corridor - rarely done we would always find a quiet corner / room for bad news,

• one medic, possibly with a nurse NOT the whole surgical team sadly saying "we did what we could"

Smarmy ex making sure Budd over heard, having previously told him to piss off. Just doesn't add up - why was her ex being told stuff as Next of Kin when they hated each other. If that WAS her mum wouldn't she be more likely to want to be talking to doctors apart from her Ex SIL ?

Hmmm, the hospital corridor: I thought they had already broken the bad news in tne little side room with the tissues, and were ushering the family in or out of the room, saying things like “I’m sorry we weren’t able to...”
