MI5 don't do police things though. You could read their very helpful websites.

Slash Dave, because JM asked if he was Dave or David and he, politely, said he answers to either, and next time she addressed him she called him 'David slash Dave'.

Oh yes their website is good, and explains it well. I guess I'd always assumed the police did that stuff really the pre crime things.

Still blows my mind a bit that it is a different thing and the two (in the show) don't work together.

It's shows like this that feel so real with the news reports in it that blurs real life / fiction

There's a whole website somewhere of phone numbers used in film and TV, the phone companies have set them aside specially. It's not very interesting, just lists of phone numbers.

JM did a short interview on This Morning yesterday, watched on catch up last night. He was barely containing a smirk when pressed to reveal something & was very cagey ( undertstandably) & careful with his words.

Def going to be a whizz banger of a finale though, lots of action & answers to many questions.

I am wondering if Dave has been rogue all along ( but falls under the auspices of those keen to get JM) Positioned on the train to talk the bomber down. This impressed JM and she requested him as her PPO. This meant he was really close to the target but JM not suspicious because she had chosen him. He could then have planted the bomb at the speech himself. However, my theory has many holes- the bomb at his children’s school for example. He wouldn’t have allowed even an intercepted attack happen at his children’s school.

I do however think there is a link between him and Nadia- not just their meeting on the train.

I’m not sure about the other two security people either. That Tom has a shifty look in his eye

Yeah, me too. I find it implausible. Is JMerc saving it up so that, just as Slash Dave makes a breakthrough and starts to convince people about the conspiracy, it comes out and trashes his reputation? Or is it a red herring and not going to turn out to be important?

SlashD ‘rogue all along’ theory along those lines would require /D to put his kids at risk (it would have to be a real bomb, anything could go wrong!), Nadia and MrNadia to sacrifice themselves to a life in prison, a network inside the police and Home Office to ensure he got the PP job...

And, couldn’t he just have let his sniper friend do the job? He worked very hard to save her at that point. He could have disingenuously manoeuvred the car so she got shot, or worked less hard to keep her calm staying down.

Bloody hell - having not watched any of this I binged on all 5 episodes on the train to London and back today and now I neeeeeeed to know...

Does anyone else think KH is a MNer? Just the tone of her tweets sounds like she would fit right in.
