There was a challenge, that the Umpire said he was too late to take. He (and the commentators ) think Keovathong (the Umpire) was bring a bit harsh.

See- scheduling Djok on Ashe at this time was always going to be a daft idea. It was never going to be a tight match- and now there will be no play on the court, for the best part of 3 hours, by the time the next match gets underway (because it won't start at midnight our time exactly- none of them have).

(Not that I'm anxious to watch either Sharapova, or Federer, to be honest- but it seems like a waste. Can you imagine Centre Court just being sat - with nothing happening? There would be doubles on there or something. ).

Just seen the end of the Djokovic match - he looks so skinny - he needs some meat on his bones! I wonder if it’s a factor in him feeling ill during the hot weather?

I don't know what they are up to- I don't know if the new schedule has been set up because in the last few years the weather has been dire , very wet, meant the men's final was delayed once or twice- and now they have the roof on both. They can play when they want. Except there hasn't been any rain.

The scheduling is weird - the main tennis page on amazon prime is just showing an empty stadium and probably will do for the next two hours.

I imagine if/when Federer beats MIlkman, his next match will a) be on Ashe and b) be scheduled late. So heat might not be a factor so much then for Djok. it's the benefit of playing Federer.

Cilic has sneaked the tiebreak. I am neutral for this I think but I reckon Cilic will win it now.

Our toilet is broken and keeps re-filling. We have fixed it once, but it is making the most horrendous noise. I'm already sleeping on the sofa to avoid dh's snoring, now the noise from the toilet and the pipes and the boiler (downstairs) is driving me barmy. I will never get any sleep at this rate.

Ds has woken up too. Fortunately, he's not in school until Wednesday.

Needless to say, Dh hasn't woken up ....
