It just doesn't make sense to list matches by court. I don't care what court I'm watching I care who I'm watching! Surely that's easy enough to change??

Hi all.
Grrr. I am hating that it's on Amazon. I have access, but I don't want to sit and watch my laptop, call me old fashioned. Apparently I can watch it on my smart TV?? But have had no luck yet. We can watch Amazon prime video on the telly, but I can't figure out how to get the tennis yet. Anyone any wiser?

Majestic yy, I've (don't ask me how I got ds to do it) have got Prime on my tv. I don't like watching on my laptop either- although the picture quality would probably be better, as I don't think it's up to the job of being shown on a 42" tv. It's like going back a decade, as if HD never happened .

I'm watching on my tablet, I know nothing about smart TVs I'm afraid. The picture is good on the tablet (albeit small, obviously)...

I am going to figure this out. I'm going to have to go full-geek to sort this out (or will ask a teenager to help)

Teenagers are your friend Majestic although mine couldn't suggest a better way of swapping between matches other than going back to the home page and selecting the court (lucky dip!) each time. Surely there’s got to be another way?

I can’t find any highlights programme - just watching a bit of the Gasquet match - the picture quality and camera angles don’t seem to have improved any.

Wait... The women have a heat rule and the men don't?? I didn't realise that, it's ridiculous. It's v v hot and humid there today apparently.

That's really crap, especially as the men's matches are longer.
So, the blokes will have to stay more hydrated, which will invariably lead to more bathroom breaks- which will make the commentators complain (like Sam Smith did yesterday).

Gasquet is looking a bit beetroot-like out there. They're commenting on his hair: " He wears it well" I mean, if anyone can pull off that look, it's him.

Private the bleached look must be chic in France this year, a few of them have tried it.

We've got it on the TV, it seems to improve quality wise after about 5 mins of watching. We don't have sky so for us being able to watch it is an improvement :)

SirNils yes, if you don't have Sky then that's fair enough, its better than nowt, for sure. And obviously costs a lot less than sky! Its just frustrating that there are loads of things they could do to improve it as well!

I don't have Sky, just the most basic Virgin package, so I'm guessing the US open coverage on that must have been via Eurosport or something last year, like at the Australian open.

It's annoying though, because some Sky channels are available, and then they aren't, iyswim. Sky Sports mix occasionally shows things, but it's hit and miss. I think it randomly showed the Indian Wells final, for example. (But not the rest of the week).

You may want to look on sporthunter.tv/tennis 😉 if you have a smart tv you should be able to get a screen which lets you type in the web address. You have to click the "x"s on lots of ad type things which pop up but you might eventually see some tennis.

I think I've just heard them tell Djok at the start of his match that they do get a 10 minute break under the heat rules.

I'm a bit confused

According to Darren Cahill on twitter the on site medical team said the men should also have a heat break, but it can only be after 3 sets or something. Why do they always have to over-complicate things?!

Wow, Novak looks boiling hot. He was very polite to the ball boy just then. It's nice hearing that rather than someone barking "Towel!!" at them.

After 3 sets?? So pretty much the duration of a match? That could easily take a couple of hours or longer.

I'd just take myself off to the loo at the end of a set and drown myself under a tap, if I was them.
