I wouldn't be surprised one little bit if Classic Corrie achieves higher viewing figures than current Corrie.

I haven't watched current Corrie for months !!

It's hard to keep track of time, everything seems to happen so fast but obviously it was a period of months originally.

I didn't remember Ted, not sure how long he was in it before he died.

Anyone else noticed how tall Steve looks in this? He's a bit of a short arse normally so it just looks odd seeing him towering over people. They can't be choosing all short people to put him next to in scenes.

Also I thought Nicky was about 8, he's so immature I was shocked that he was starting secondary

I thought the same MrsSteve,I have a 12 yr old son who started High school last September and there's no comparison may be times have changed ,but Nicky acts like a much younger child.

They've also changed the uniform colour as it used to be grey but now everyone is in red

Oh yes I'm catching up on episodes it appears they are all wearing red now and yet when it was sarah-louise,s turn at weatherfield high they were back to grey jumpers

You would have thought that there would have been a scene with Deirdre complaining about the cost of having to buy new uniform

Ken does have a fling with Maggie - I had forgotten that one. Agree on them having a similar taste in women (at least 3)!

I'm a few days behind, but have they mixed up the episodes again? It's gone from Ted collapsing on the bench at the bowling in one episode, to Rita discussing his funeral with Alf in the next episode! Did I miss one?

Sounds about right, he was buried pretty quickly !

It was a week later on original transmission times, and funerals were more quickly arranged (there were more crematoria per head of population then)

I felt so sorry for Vicky as she started to cry when Bet showed up at the school, she seemed to love them really even though she acted like she hated the whole set-up so much.

I think the episodes were shown the wrong way round yesterday, just been catching up, didn't realise at first as no major story, but Jack was talking about the parking ticket in the first one, then we saw him getting it in the second!

When Jenny was at Wethy High her uniform had a light greenish jumper.

Ivy doesn't help herself does she? Always pushing people away and taking offence over the slightest thing! That said I think Gail was a bit over the top, Ivy was drunk in the Rovers once (although I am aware in this case it's going to be an ongoing storyline) as a one off it doesn't make her unfit to look after the kids .knowing what we know about Carmel it's interesting to see how she investigates herself into the Platts family life .
