Those scenes with the middle-aged men salivating over Raquel’s topless photos. Disgusting, even though R had the last laugh. Sign of those times I suppose. Also, Alma’s casual reference to the Irish leprechaun!

Jack thought those pictures were of topless Raquel and there he was handing them out to all the men, shocking!

Ooh, has Liz/Bev Callard been away having her nose job?! Wondered when she had that!

I really like Curly but don’t fancy him. I fancied Steve at the time, he was my age. Also fancied Terry although he was a bit too old for me.

Lynne Perrie is brilliant in these scenes. What acting!

I was abroad on a gap year when these storylines were happening so I can’t recall anything. I remember coming back and realising that Lynne Perrrie looked very different though.

Why would Rita have her practically brand-new car repaired at Kevin's garage? It's less than a year old, so would surely still be under the manufacturer's warranty

Also, IMO, this Carmel storyline started Corrie's trend of having increasingly implausible and ridiculous plots.

Not a fling with Mike was it? As mentioned before Ken and Mike have 'shared' the same women! I can't remember this period of Corrie apart from the eventual Carmel/Martin affair.
Did the hair salon get rebuilt at some time - it seems to have a different lay out now or are they just using a different camera angle?

No I don't recall a fling with Mike, he's happily married ,well for now.....I don't recall the salon getting rebuilt maybe revamped ?

I wonder how long they'll carry on showing it for? Eventually we'll end up in present day won't we! I saw something earlier about the Battersbys arriving in 1997 so hope we make it to then, that's when I first remember watching first time round.

As long as people are watching the old episodes I imagine SpinMill,we are just going into 1993 so it's even though the weeks to by quickly it's still going to take a while to catch up to present day!😂I love Bet I find her hilarious I love her sarcasm when Curly said happy hour was from 5-6.30 and said it was an hour and a half and she said something like that's the many happy things about it they need more characters like her she's brilliant .
