I was gutted to see Lopez was playing Verdasco. I love both. They both bring so much to the game.

Private the Louie/Louis thing confuses me too.

Murray is through anyway, which will be relief, but Verdasco is not an easy opponent if you are not 100%, so we will see what happens. Ferdy has a good shot, I think.

Yes I think Lopez-Verdasco would have been a good match on paper, but I don't think Feli played too well by the sound of things.

I'm watching Venus v Kuznetsova and they've invoked the heat rule so the players have gone off - and there's no commentary at all! I CBA to turn to the "main" channel to find out what's going on. It's all a bit of a faff.

I really want to watch Tsitsipas v Robredo but the only outside court being shown is Norrie v somebody this is annoying

Is anyone staying up for Rafa-Ferrer?? I don't think I will make it!!

I'm sad for Ferrer as well - a sad way to end his Slam career. Hopefully he'll be ok for Davis Cup.

I didn't watch it though, I went to bed after watching a bit of Shaggy Vs Felix AA (who also retired from the match I think). Raahh I never thought about bandwidth etc - I was streaming tennis for about 7-8 hours yesterday!! Imagine if they cut it off during an exciting match or something! I don't even want to think about it.

Rafa was looking good yesterday. But Delpo was wearing an awful orange shirt, almost as bad as Stan's. Why can't they have nice kits a la Dimitrov and co??! It's v unfair

Poor Ferrer i met him once and he was just lovely. It was a nightmare draw for him though.
My tv had a similar message apparently it can't cope with the amount of data for that long which is why the picture is crap. Admittedly my tv is small and ancient but still.

I can just imagine David would be a really nice person in real life!

Just reading an interview with Tsitsipas from yday's Times. He says he's aiming for the tour finals and wants to win a title this year - he said he was close before but "Rafa ruined everything, twice" oh dear!!

Poor Tsitsipas well, he should count himself lucky. Amazon is currently ruining our lives .

It's ridiculous- tennis isn't football, matches are not played for a set length of time- and the US open (like Australia) is worse, because of the night sessions, which mean sometimes things can go on until the early hours of the morning over there. So, presumably, in order to watch any of Rafa's matches, which are likely to all be late ones (if I can stay awake), I'm not going to be able to watch much earlier on?

And we are having to pay extra on top of other tv packages for the privilege of this. .
