I didn’t realise rod laver was 80 - wow. I think Roger would have had a cake - his twins would have insisted I’m sure!

Dimitrov came through in 3 sets against Tiafoe. Tsistsipas has taken the first set against Djokovic - he’s looking good in bright pink with his flowing hair.

Was really impressed with Tsitsipas - thought nerves might get to him when he lost the second set but he kept his composure and played really well. Can’t believe he’s only nineteen.

Because we are retired (and old) DH & I have made it a rule not to watch day time telly - apart from Wimbledon.

We've seen so many friends who won't go out or do stuff as they have to be in by 4.0/4.30pm to watch some crap or other on the telly.

Day time TV is/can be the work of the devil for the retired!

Very pleased for Tsitsipas, and Rafa. shame it had to be at the expense of Stan.

Rafa has now officially made the cut for the tour finals, with that win. Which is nice.

I'm just watching the highlights of Rafa v Stan now Raahh. Stan is really going for it and playing well (unbelievable they were going to make him play qualifiers for this!).
I think Rafa often has that effect on people though.

His shirt looks more of a coral than red under the floodlights

That's good about the O2. They showed the race "situation" on sky last night, and the gap between 8th place and the rest was huge. But there are usually one or two dropping out with injury aren't there? So Foggy probably still has a decent chance of making it.
