Due to the high wind I have had 3 days with no swim - most disgruntled.

But it's calmer today so am hoping for a dip this afternoon.

private I couldn't sleep, so 'saw'the beginning of the match when I checked the scores, Murray had levelled the match. Must have been a tough one in the end.

I saw the Rafa/Delpo picture yesterday. it was a great moment, not surprised they picked that picture.
Sounds like you're having a great time. Today we will be mostly going to dentist appointments, sorting out car M.o.ts and wishing we hadn't stripped the paper off the walls in ds's room. its become a mammoth task. It's keeping him busy though, which is the main thing.

Envious of all the swimming - it seems to be getting warmer here again but definitely not envious of water slides!

Jay Clarke has won his first ever ATP Challenger title. I really like him & hope he continues to do well.

Wimbledon already seems ages ago

The weather has turned horrible here and it feels very chilly. At least the farmers will be happy to get some rain.

I'd love to see Wayne Rooney playing tennis

They're showing Andy's match now on Sky. I didn't realise it was on last night and I was awake until all hours so I could have watched it.

According to dan walker on bbc breakfast telly Wayne Rooney’s serve is like Marion Bartoli’s.

Kudla is playing Lacko. I'm amused at the way they pronounce Lacko because it sounds like latchico an Irish slang word for an annoying idiot!

We've had a Paire for the course pun. Excellent! He's looking great with his beard and blond bits. Baghdatis also has some blond highlights and is his usual lovely, cuddly self brushing his hair away in a very camp fashion

I loved Baghdatis' hair at Wimbledon- it was very light- took a bit of getting used to.

I see Zverev's match was rained off so hopefully I'll get to see him tonight.

Feel like having a tantrum myself because DS2 has a soccer match and as usual leaves it to the last minute to sort his gear out. Grr

Blimey! There was some stroppiness Wimbledon, too, though wasn't there, when he played Delpo. He is a character , is Benoit.

But not with quite the same 'I'll do what I like, sue me' attitude of a Kyrgios .

And Jane I sympathise re- the football kit .

DD1 always leaves things to the last minute- and for some reason, it's also my job to know where Dh's softball stuff is. Or anything in the house in general, really. .

DD1 definitely gets the 'last minute' gene from him. It infuriates me- although, hypocritically, when dh needs her to be ready on match days (because he's the manager) suddenly he's ready early.

have finally got sky to work on my laptop. We have friends and family core thing from bil who works for them. Some times it works. Sometimes it doesn't. The sound is a bit iffy. But can't have everything.

I see the Zverevs are playing each other next. My money's on Sascha.

I didn't get very far with watching last night - just a bit into the second set before m lat top decided enough was enough.

It's interesting that the Zverev's haven't played each other competitively before (though there is quite a big age gap). I'm not sure who will win- Mischa is very good at springing the odd surprise, and the pressure can get to Sascha. He oughtto win though.

That's some rain they're having in Washinton.
