I hardly ever get the mystery guest right these days. That's when I remember to watch- it's one of those programmes that seems to get shuffled around the schedule.

Lots of upsets happening around the place.

The fabulously named Jurgen Zopp beat defending champion Foggy yesterday, in Bstaad.

Not long until the start of the Rogers Cup.

It feels like ages since I 'watched' any tennis now. And finallyall my dc have finished school.

So rain is forecast for tomorrow.

I've just put Thiem and Jarry on. Second set tie-break.

And we've had some beverage chat. I've learned about Apfelschorle which is apple juice mixed with fizzy water!

I'm going to go and have a quick look at the tennis. I should be packing but I CBA - just too hot...

It's overcast here too Jane but so stuffy - ugh. We're going to Italy tomorrow on hols, so I probably won't see much tennis - I think Toronto/Montreal starts while we're there. Apparently they are having a freakishly hot summer over there as well - in Canada i mean.

I've noticed that Murray is playing in the Citi Open in Washington- and if he gets through his first round match- he will meet Kyle Edmund.

That keeps happening to them .

Just catching up with tennis news! I see Murray went through after 7 match points! I saw a video clip of McDonald playing a volley winner at some crucial stage or other, but he reached over the other side of the net to play the shot, so lost the point. He clearly did reach across from what I saw. Haven't seen anyone do that for ages, bet he's kicking himself.

Hope Murray recovers ok, can't believe he's playing Edmund again!!

Also, I saw that Wimbledon put up a video of the Rafa-Delpo quarter final hug to celebrate International Friendship Day

Hello Private hope you’re having a good holiday.

I’ve just seen that Murray has come through his match - really pleased for him. Sounded like a tough one for him and now he’s got Kyle Edmund.

On breakfast telly yesterday it showed Murray practising with Wayne Rooney - not sure if that’s going to be the right sort of preparation for him

Great to see Andy back. Would love to see him fully fit & winning slams again.

Thanks fizzy yes we are having a good time - it's already hot here so I will be trying to rival magi in the swimming stakes today! Yesterday I ended up going down a waterslide about 30 times (with my DS, not just by myself I must add) which was not my idea of relaxing! So hopefully more leisurely today.

I would love to see Andy back on top form as well. It might be a long road, but hopefully it's possible for him. Would hate to see him end his career over injury.
