Did anyone watch this back in the spring?

I did. I loved it albeit the ending a bit incomplete- left open for series 2.

Why is it on again so soon? I see it's on BBC Wales again tonight. It doesn't say it's a repeat but surely it can't be series 2 already?

I watched this on BBC1 just s few months ago. I waited week yo week got the next instalment. The series was 8 weeks long.
Anyone know why they are repeating this so soon?

Yeah baseball cap woman is police boss - also bent by the look of things. No idea what the newly spruced up neighbour is up to, does anyone think its Evan he's in touch with? And why the fuck wouldnt any of the family agree to take the kids in??? Surely the grandparents wouldnt let them go to a stranger?

I don't understand this either.There's so many holes in this story it's unreal.

Last night they turned off the road in broad daylight to meet the dodgy dentist. When they parked up it was pitch black. That's happened about 3 times so far in this series. It's so annoying

My other problem is that I don't really care about Evan. He seems like a total drip

I actually enjoyed this episode & found it better than previous.

Evan's mum & sister hate Faith so think they're being bitches not taking the kids but I'm surprised at the grandad as he seemed like he loves them. Unless SS wouldn't allow family to have them as they'd still be in reach of their mum?

Do we know what Faith was talking about when she said to the policewoman that she'd still never forgiven her?

I think faith and the police woman have history where faith caught her out making up evidence (it was mentioned when the vicar got pulled in.
What was in the file that the dad was copying?

Just watched this ep, enjoyed it more than the previous few. I think neighbour Arthur has been working for DI Williams (short haired copper), but has now got something to blackmail her with (he was filming the fire and her car) so won't have to work for her any more.

I thought the dad was shredding stuff rather than copying?

Oh god it's ludicrous but I have to see it through to the end.
I think neighbour with hair cut is working for the other small copper. I think she's the corrupt copper who the dentist was referring to just before she drove off.
I think the brown haired in copper is a bitch but not corrupt.

But yeah, as if you'd be that terrified to open your front door then ask your friend to open it instead.

On a side note, the daughters are so cute and good actors, especially the one with the blocked up nose voice.

The getting dark thing is really annoying too.

Quite fancy her ginger friend though.

The reason social services gave for her having the kids taken was her association with Steve. Yet he has been deemed safe enough to have access to his own kids in a court.
Faith being allowed to be locked up with her solicitor... as if.

What does the daughter mean by 'i believe you' on the note. Do they know that she is being questioned for murder?

The stupid sister in law. Why did taking anti depressants for one day turn her into a cleptomaniac?
Story line and accuracy is soo dodgy in this.

The sil - the kleptomania I thought was symptomatic of depression/anxiety not presented as caused by the meds.

The ss thing is bizarre, it's not that easy or quick to take someone's kids. That has annoyed me because we see on mn frequently people afraid to reach out for help from ss in case they lose their kids!

missblue2 I agree with you - I'm only watching it to find out what happened to Evan- but we might never know because there was a hint from viewers who watched it previously that the ending is inconclusive and Series 2 has been commissioned.

I will never give up my time to Series 3 of Dr. Foster. Series 2 was awful.
Those poor children being passed from Billy to Jack.
Where are Faith's own extended family ?
It's so unrealistic and I had high hopes for the programme.

II watched dr foster, expecting a big twist at the end only to be massively disappointed. Total waste of time - all that for a clichéd affair story? Please!

Where have the last two episodes gone?

This series could have been over in two episodes if they cut the warbly music slow mo scenes.

I'm now just watching it to be amused at how crap and repetitive it is. I'm playing my own bingo/drinking game.
