Did anyone watch this back in the spring?

I did. I loved it albeit the ending a bit incomplete- left open for series 2.

Why is it on again so soon? I see it's on BBC Wales again tonight. It doesn't say it's a repeat but surely it can't be series 2 already?

I watched this on BBC1 just s few months ago. I waited week yo week got the next instalment. The series was 8 weeks long.
Anyone know why they are repeating this so soon?

What happened to the other policewoman, the one at the scene of the crime?

I don’t actually understand what is going on. It is watchable shite.

The woman in the baseball cap was the detective(?) that turned up when they were searching for the body in the quarry/lake. Presumably also corrupt.

It is watchable shite - but having tried to watch the appalling dross that is 'age before beauty' this does have some good elements.

I definitely don't have the foggiest what the solution to the mystery is, I flip between thinking he's dead or alive, if he's dead was it suicide or murder? And I'm an experienced watcher and reader of crime/mystery so I'm used to the problem solving and can usually suss what's going on. To get to this point and absolutely not know what's going on is very unusual for me.

I have no idea at all. Why was she driving along the beach? Why is the dad so sure he's dead? Who is the new copper? Who did she send that email to? Why did she flush the letter???? Why does she keep taking her shoes off??

I really enjoyed tonight but it's so unrealistic. If that RTC was real it wouldn't be the local bobbies doing forensic work.
I can't stop watching it though, I'm hooked on this shite...

Who is Lisa? Is that her friend? I think she destroyed the letter because she knows Evan's Dad has shredded the file that he says they should go to the police with?

Yes I think earring was planted. Local force clearly seriously corrupt- apart from the brother in law. The other cid guy was from another force I think.

Agree, watchable shite. Pouting, leg-waving, over-acting Faith is so, so annoying and over-acted. And the shots from weird angles is becoming increasingly hilarious.

I predict this series will end with everyone assuming Evan is dead. Faith will be trying to get Baldini off the hook after his drug-dealings (to get HER off the hook) go awry.

Next series will be Faith and Baldini becoming/about to become an item when suddenly Evan will appear/get in touch.

When did the scenes involving Evan happen? Did he know that Alec is his half brother before or after he started using his identity?

Was he visiting the strip club and dropping off the cash while Faith was looking for him or did his all happen before he disappeared?

Every time I glanced over at DH last night he would stick his legs in the air, flick his flip flops off and do a duck pout.

I like the programme but it gets confusing as so many bits pop up...a lot of different characters I don't get who Arthur is working for?? Or who the person was that Faith sent a copy of Evan's letter to before flushing the letter...I've more questions than answers. That Steve guy is quite hot though!! Think a situation developing between him and Faith 😬

ok so going to make a few predictions:

Blonde, drug woman is a red herring in the story but will lead to Baldini's death
Evan's alive and its related to the Glenns (Glynns??) where he has been
Williams isnt dodgy and will help Faith find Evan
The DC from Swansea is the dodgy one and took WIlliam's car that night
Evan's odd family is just a red herring too.

She probably didn't. Doesnt matter tho as kids can be removed without proper investigation, apparently you can appear in court and bark any old drivel as a representation and its ok. You can sit in the cells with your solicitor if you want too. It's sooo bad but so addictive.

I think Evan is paying Arthur to get dc Williams banged up as he knows she will be after faith and shes clearly been involved with the glynns.

Why didn't nan and grandad take the kids, it's unbelievable.

There was a lingering close up of the earing when dc Williams picked it up when searching the house after the break in. She pocketted it then for future use, then made a song and dance about finding it by the dentists car to bro in law.

I think the inspector that is toms pal is trying to help the family.

I don't know why Tom is so convinced he is dead. May be he can't cope with it all.
