They have introduced the concept of alternative versions of the future with Desmond, so I don't think that Jack's 'future' is necessarily what will happen.

I closed my eyes when Charlie was dying, so I don't know exactly what happened. However, if John Locke can come back from being shot, can Charlie come back from being drowned?

Pretty sure Charlie has actually left the show. The only thing you might have missed while he was drowning was he wrote on his hand "Not Pennys boat" for Desmond to see through the window.

I wondered if the person in the coffin was Sawyer. Just because Kate said she'd have to get back to him, doesnt mean it was Sawyer.
Also wondered if it was Juliette but I'm pretty sure they said "him" or "he".

So that brings me to my next wonderment. Could it have been Micheal? Walts dad.

But now having typed all that and thinking, it could very well have been Ben and the reason why it upset Jack so much was because Ben was keeping them on the island and now Jack wants to go back?????

my theory is that they are being shown what their lives will be like if they were to get off the island so that they dont want to leave. I think....

mumfor1.. - just watched it again and you can see that tatoos in the flash foward - on his left arm, definitely there.

I think the tattoos are real in rl, so would be hard for them to forgrt to put them on
Pretty sure he has the 5 one cos of Party of Five, which made him famous years ago. Which is also why I keep wanting to say Charlie instead of Jack cos that was his character name in that.
