I don't mind watching Novak. But then on the sliding scale of who I like to watch in the big 5 (I refuse to call it a big 4 when Stan has 3 majors to his name) it's Roger, Stan, Novak and a close battle between Rafa and Andy for bottom position which Andy wins because he's always so bloomin moody. At least Nole smiles sometimes.

I saw the luge but not a lot else in my lunchbreak!

Well, my school runs are over for the time being. Have to do football runs later. But that's quite late, so tennis might be over by then.

Kyrgios is pathetic. It's hardly going to give Murray an idea of how he's playing, if his opponent is being a prat.

Ironic they are going on about Kyrgios and his lack of effort, yet they are so welcoming of Dan Evans- who has been fined, and also banned for similar in the past. Hypocrites.

I like Kyrgios, but even i struggle to see what he's trying to do here - he's been injured himself hasn't he, but the twirling around etc?!

Maybe Raahh but you'd have to feel sorry for Andy. He deserved a better match for his return.

Yes I'd rather watch Lopez v Goffin too.

I see the gorgeous Benneteau has beaten Berdych.

Kyrgios is actually making me angry. The commentators keep saying what a good player he is but I’ve never seen any evidence if this. He hits the odd amazing shot but that’s about it.

I think his behaviour shows complete disrespect to the paying and watching public and to Andy Murray who has supported him in the past.

I would rather be watching Lopez against Goffin as well.

Kyrgios was playing ok last week, by all accounts, in Stuttgart. He's just bizarre. He plays when he can be bothered. Then he doesn't. And it's right that he should be pulled up for that- because it is cheating. If he doesn't want to be there, then piss off. Let someone who does want to be there, have a chance.

And yes, Murray deserves the chance to see how he can really play- because his next match will probably be against Kyle Edmund- and that won't be as easy, in theory.

Apparently he has been fined in the past for not trying (and also for making lewd comments about Stan Wawrinka’s girlfriend - which AC seemed to find quite amusing ) but he doesn’t seem to have learnt his lesson.

Yes, if he doesn’t want to be there I’m sure there are plenty of other players who would take his place.

I’ll be very cross if he wins this match.

And for those who are interested in how things are going in Halle- Coric has win the first set against Sascha Zverev 6-1 in his match. I'm wondering if Sascha is still carrying an injury from RG.

Now back from school run and trying to catch up with what's been going on. If Kyrgios is tanking, he goes down even further in my estimation. It shows a complete lack of respect for everyone, including Murray, who has always stood up for him, and Kyrgios knows how important this match is for Murray, which makes his behaviour doubly disappointing.
