Oooooh I just read something on Digital Spy which made me . I know there's a Holby spoiler thread but not sure if there's one for Casualty

God that all makes sense now. That's why he was so calm. He felt at peace with his decision. I really really hope they find him in time. Ian is my favourite character.

Yes he's at peace (even cleaned out the fridge and left the door open).

I think he'll be found because Ruby will decide to go to the pub for one reason or other. She and Gemma will mention Iain and how was that day and something will click with someone.

Least that's what I want to happen!!

(Though all required actions are tentative, do rely on characters grasping at very subtle and unclear hooks!)

O.M.G!!! I've just seen yesterday's episode . I was sitting here saying "don't do it, pleeeeaaaase, don't do it, Iain" over and over again. I was in tears. I hope he's okay. I really like his character in the show but, I've kind of seen this moment coming for weeks. I'm so sad for him.

Ian has had so much screen time over the past few months that they can't just let him die...

When are the cross over holby/casualty episodes? Love casualty but never watched holby before.

Really hard to watch ians story line this week.

Think it starts with this week's casualty. (I don't actually know what day Holby is on.)

And yes surprised last eeek they Connie was up and about. No coma and back at work within a few hours

Casualty is Saturday 2nd and Holby is Tuesday 5th at 8pm

Well what did we all think? Loved Ruby, Gem annoying, Connie looked like the living dead, Dylan amazing as ever. Quite enjoyed the crossover but I do love Holby anyway.

If Iain dies then I’m done with casualty. First Max left then Ian? They’ve tested my loyalty too far .

I really like Ruby, the character started off quite slow but she is developing well. I hope Iain survives, but if he does I don't want him to be back to normal next week, but rather show some of the lasting effects. Connies recovery has been so unrealistic. They need to get rid of Marty and Jade, they are awful. I want to see note of David and Dylan!

I was really excited for this, but it feels like a rip off of they greys anatomy episode of the same theme

I work in IT in the NHS (cyber security) and the producers of the show contacted my team to ask about cyber attacks.

What is odd is that in both Holby & Casualty, staff walk about with paper files all the time. Suddenly they can’t do anything without computers, like record obs. They never seemed to do that anyway.

I thought it was really good. So tense.

And though Gem is irritating I thought her reaction was realistic, in terms of not being able to believe Iain would do it.

Obviously Noel thinks he’s the security breach but did Connie look a bit shifty too?!

@WingBingo DH also works in the same field and called the storyline pretty quickly, but he also spent much of the time shouting "why haven't they called IT?" And questioning why the lift would be affected.

It genuinely didn't even occur to me to think through the logic of the outage. I am well beyond expecting anything realistic from Casualty!

I enjoyed it. Despite not watching Holby I realised I did actually know some of the characters. Unsure of the relationships though. Can those of you that know tell me whst the story between Connie and the consultant whose OT she used. Plus Elle and the man she called (whose mobile Dylan was suprised she had).
