What had the pregnant woman been in?

New paramedic is a bit annoying but not as annoying as I find Rashid who happily wasn't on it last time. I thought they were all being a bit overly horrible to her (although her screw up with the war veteran was BAD!!)

Pregnant woman was in the inbetweeners movie...getting them to go in the nightclub. Not sure what else though.

Just caught up on the latest episode and although the new paramedic annoyed me at first I liked her by the end of it. I thought Sam was a bit of a bitch tonight but I don’t like her character anyway.

I was also wondering what else the pregnant woman had been in!

I’m glad Alicia has spoken out too.

Knew I recognised the new paramedic. Nancy from Enders.

Yes we one is Nancy from EE

Either way she can’t act 😂

Can someone tell me what happened tonight? I don't have a Tele at the minute and no WiFi so can't watch it on catch up :-( I watch it every week I'm so sad I haven't been able to watch it

Alicia confessed to a counsellor that she was raped...I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm bored of this storyline.

I’ve stopped watching lately, obviously not missed much.

Completely boring episode with far too much Sam.

Do Holby not use their ambulances overnight?

Report
frazzled3ds · 22/07/2018 13:40

That one was a patient transport ambulance, not an emergency response one.

Good spot frazzled. I didn't notice that.

I quite liked last night’s episode. I think the actress who plays Alicia is portraying the distress very well and she makes it very believable.

I agree there was too much Sam but thankfully there was hardly any Jacob which is always a good thing!!

I did miss seeing Connie and Ethan though!!

Will Alicia actually go to the police?
Will she make it up with Bea?

Can I join the thread? Have just been catching up on the last couple of episodes and am finding the Alicia/Eddie story line quite unsettling. Do you think he really has no idea what he did? Or does he know and just doesn’t care? Or does he know that she said “no” but doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong because she took him home with her and therefore in his head, sex was a given?

I can’t really work out how they’re going to bring it all to a conclusion next week!

StripySocksAndDocs · 31/07/2018 10:43

Of course you can join!!

I haven't seen it for about a month though. I was away and my stupid recordy box didn't record. Then I haven't seen the last few (which did record) must try view them

I'm shocked that when Alicia hit Bea that the police weren't called and Alicia immediately suspended. IRL she could lose her registration for that, as well as criminal proceedings. I know she's stressed and that maybe Bea didn't handle things too well....but really!

Theonlylivingboy I'm not sure what Eddie things either

StripySocksAndDocs · 31/07/2018 13:52

I think he's aware she said no, but thinks that because he'd already had sex it was all good. The ground works bring laid fir that with Bea hearing him tell Rash you just take what you want (I paraphrase) and then the ectopic soldier woman telling her (ex)boyfriend what right did he have to do that to her body.

What do you mean he'd already had sex so it was all good?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 31/07/2018 17:53

That conversation Eddie had with Rash was really revealing actually - about what he genuinely thinks underneath his nice-guy persona. And then to see Rash trying out that approach and Gem’s all WTF?

I thought the old man being abused by his son was crucial to Alicia - you could see her frustration with him staying silent and simply returning to that abusive situation.

The slap was shocking and I’m surprised that nothing was done. If that happened where I work, there would definitely be consequences!

Maybe that he’d had consensual sex earlier with her and thus thought he had consent for as much sex as he wanted (entitlement) regardless of whether she wanted to change her mind? That was my reading of it, anyway.

Report
purpleme12 · 31/07/2018 18:04

Oh I see. I do think they need to make what Eddie thinks about it all clearer. I mean I get that that conversation was revealing but I still just couldn't work out at all how he felt apart from that

Can I join in? I had a marathon catch up session over the weekend so unusually for me, im not a month behind.
Didn't Alicia say that she passed out and she woke up to him having sex. She said no but he carried on anyway.
