To be fair they didn't show the whole thing. It's implied that the test didn't go well rather than that she just forgot that one thing.

Aren't Charlie and Duffy seen as like the heart of the place though isn't that why people are invested. People look up to them I think and never thought theirs would break down

Silly Robyn sticking her beak in and gossiping - AGAIN. How many times will they do this? It makes her so unlikeable. I thought she'd grown up.
Poor episode this week. That faux shock at the charge for treatment - like pp have said how could they not know about that?! And Alicia showing an interest in paeds basically becomes her being in charge of paeds..in Casualty land. All Ethan needed to say to her was that he was separating work and home - rightly so. I don't even know why I watch it anymore!

When did they start putting dramatic music in it? And more importantly why?

No one knows. They've done it for quite a few recent episodes now. It's odd if you ask me

Yes it might be unrealistic in real life but then a lot of the programme is isn't it

I have to say Louise's story doesn't really elicit sympathy in me. Think it's a combination of her not being a very warm character and her being stupid about the car park charges and the story not being done very well? I mean I assume we're meant to feel for her

Right on cue, another character disappears at two days' notice. I bet they manage to recruit a replacement without bothering to go through tedious things like advertising, interviewing, taking up references etc.

So Alicia receives her job offer and leaves to move to Manchester (with one small holdall) later that day . What about her house she bought this year? Finding somewhere to live?

Also, surely you can't not accept someone's resignation! It's their choice. All Ethan had to do was go to HR and ignore Connie.

And as for Louise going to a food bank in a church wearing what looked like a brand new coat, surely in that situation you would sell everything bar the essentials on eBay??

I get very cross about homelessness/food Bank stories.

Why did Alicia say Ethan was the love of her life and then basically tell him to bog off as she's not interested?

Wouldn't Connie's own hair have grown by now?
